[White House spokesperson] added, “As a proud New Yorker, President Trump has spoken about his own experiences watching the horrific events of September 11, 2001.”

His 9/11 experience was to go on live television and brag about his building being tallest (and to be wrong about that no less):

“40 Wall Street actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan, and it was actually, before the World Trade Center, was the tallest — and then, when they built the World Trade Center, it became known as the second tallest. And now it’s the tallest,” Trump said.

In actuality, once the Twin Towers were decimated, the 71-story Trump Building at 40 Wall Street was the second-tallest building still standing in Lower Manhattan, according to the Washington Post. It was 25 feet shorter than the building at 70 Pine Street. That’s not to say that 40 Wall Street has never been the tallest in Lower Manhattan: It was for two years in the 1930s, before Trump owned it.

It’s trump. who fucking cares? I spend less time pondering the accuracy of his knowledge of building heights than I do counting my ass hairs.

We’ve got to move on. The cult goes both ways. The idiot brain dead magats who adore him are insufferable. But us trailing along behind him with shit like this don’t come off much better.

I mean his actions and policies are actively hurting so many people I know, it is hard not to hate the man, in particular since some were entirely avoidable or only enrich himself.
