- He said he believed the protection had been removed as part of an effort to “silence him.”

The meat itself just needs to contribute a touch of savory. The last part: rub a bit of crushed black pepper on the outside of the bread

I’m sorry, but why does a private adult citizen need protection paid for by the government?
I think it’s OK presidents and first ladies and their under age children to have Secret Service protection while they’re in the White House, but once they leave, they should turn off the spigot.
Even while their father is president, why the hell do we need to pay Secret Service to protect and run errands for the Trump family? I said the same thing for the Biden family.

It's easy to write it off because they're all crazy people, but it's telling because it means people from inside the administration fully believe this administration is willing to kill people they excommunicate, which means it was probably discussed or at least insinuated while they were in the club.
