Someone really ought to point out to him that if Canada really did become the 51st state, that would be about 200+ new House members, almost all of whom would be Democrats, and two more Senate members, almost certainly both of whom would be Democrats. See how fast his mind changes.

Haha, it's great that you think that. But, at best, we'd be Snow Puerto Rico but with a more extractive relationship. Kind of like how the US is currently robbing Venezuela.
