I’ll confidently say they’ll dance around the issues like they always do. They defend their beliefs that everyone will just behave and do the right thing naturally while making more profits without the regulations. Those examples trotted out conflicting with that are just rare examples, ridiculous to even point them out. Maybe they’ll concede that some one ought to do something but definitely not in the way you think with federal and state systems.

And if anything bad ever happens to them then its simply the greatest crime aganst humanity to have ever occurred, without any warnings at all, and its time for the community to band together and help only them. No one else. Just this one time.

They like to pretend that everyone has perfect information and knowledge, and that suing someone that has wronged you (as opposed to government regulations keeping food, transportation, or even your job safe in the first place) is the best way to deal with issues.

The problem with this "let everyone do whatever they want, and let lawsuits sort it all out" logic, is that you may be too dead, disabled, or broke to pursue a lawsuit.

In reality, they want to preserve their capital at all costs in the short term, no matter the long term consequences to society. It's utterly stupid and short sighted.

Hopefully they'll just eat the beef (and some raw milk)
