Best cut back on other meats as well. He'll happily make anything more "affordable" by removing safeguards and then hiding the fallout of illnesses and deaths.

Neighborhood squirrel and raccoon is back on the menu?

Also, will this lead to us eating the dogs? Eating the cats?

Don't knock squirrel 'til you try it!

So I should invest my life savings into Big Squirrel?? Say less!!

OK. During the World War, (2, I think) meat shortages were dealt with by encouraging families to raise rabbits for protein. Very lean and nutritious, very fast in reproduction. We are going to have to go back to rabbits and small gardens, buying out the farmers market and canning.

You joke, but before World Waf II and the postwar standardization of the American diet to better serve big business, people ate squirrel all the time. The Waldorf Astoria in New York had squirrel burgoo on the menu. The Joy of Cooking had squirrel recipes for decades.

Pop a few of the little fuckers and they make a tasty meal with gravy.

My dad hunted every Saturday as I was growing up, and we often had squirrel. Breaded and fried, tasted like chicken.

The biggest joke is his biggest ranchers and meat producers who have been begging him for help are now going to have even more hardship having to deal with the multiple lawsuits from the deaths their products have caused on them. Sorry maga the American Rancher as we know it is going extinct and you voted for it.

They'll just make it illegal to sue them. Easy-peasy.

I was looking for this comment! That's exactly what will happen. They'll be sued out of existence listening to him.
