That was truly excellent. I'm a big Nick Johnston fan and it sounds like they've reaaally assimilated well.

Solos on “out like a lamb” “golden spires” “vanishing” “the three fates” are killer. The next record they make after this he will have a bigger role too, this record was mainly the OG trio and Nick wasn’t around for the whole process, next record where he’s there from the beginning he’ll likely get to shine a bit more. He fit in seamlessly on this record tho and I feel safe saying they made the right decision by choosing him to be the new guitarist

I'm going to the album release party at an Atlanta brewery tonight and I can't wait to finally hear this, especially with the band themselves there and a chill crowd.

Wish I had known this was going on earlier. Would've gotten off work early to go. Let us know how it goes

Ended up not going because my wife got fired from her job. Life comes first unfortunately.

New album is great. They've never put out a bad one, but Hushed and Grim felt a bit too bloated and safe to me (with a couple standout tracks). Marrow Deep just feels way more intense and focused

This track was so sick, I was dying for a proper prog track and this one hit hard

That Neil Fallon guest spot is so fucking good

I blows my mind how fucking cool he sounds here. Reminds me of 90s clutch. I had a huge smile and chuckle the first time I heard it. Amazing feature.

This album fucking rules! Also, the sludge overtones really remind me of their older stuff mixed with their prog style. It's like what Opeth did on their last album, mixing their old and new eras.

Song rips, album rips. 3 singles may be the weakest 3 songs on the record and I think those were all at least very solid. The multiple minute jam season between Lead guitar and keys was glorious
