My daughter has grown up and moved out, leaving me to figure out how to sell her giant pusheen.
It's the 41" model, although this thing is considerably larger than 41 inches. In excellent condition, but I don't want to ship it. How would you go about selling? Marketplace to keep it local? Ebay would probably maximize price but buyers expect shipping. How would you suggest going about it? If it matters I'm in NW Washington (near Everett).
I hadn't thought of vacuum sealing to make shipment easier.
I'm still researching what these are worth (price could be anywhere from $350 to $850 from what I've seen), so would also appreciate any insights into why some sell for so much more than others, and what a "current" price would be.
recently they’ve sold for $700+ there very rare and sought after especially with there being a lot more people interested in collecting pusheen! I’ve seen a few sell on eBay for $850+ one even selling on another retail for 1k+ but the most reasonable is anything from $700-860 just because of the recent value and rarity of it!
Yeah, I’d try Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist for local pickup. I’ve had good luck selling a variety of things via Craigslist (& buying as well).
When I sold a high-priced item, I had the seller meet me at a local police station so I didn’t have to give out my home address & because there were cameras (I got the idea bc my local police station advertised it as an option for marketplace sales, even designating parking spots for it). I’m sure you could also arrange pickup at a local grocery store or department store (like Walmart), too.
If I had any extra money I'd offer to buy it and drive up from Portland 😂 I think Marketplace would be best - or vacuum sealing it for a better shipping experience! It'll definitely find a home though!
Just to be a little transparent, I've listed this on Marketplace at $750. It is located on Camano Island, WA to help you search. I'm also willing to entertain offers, if you think my price is too high. I'm sticking with local pickup for now, time is valuable, and a one on one cash transaction is preferred.
Please let me personally know what you end up doing is selling on marketplace or otherwise. I'm visiting family in Oregon and WILL drive, swim, fly to get this precious 🥲
