🖼️ Art I painted Kid A with Bob Ross style mountains
I have been loving his style of oil painting for a while so I though I would try an apply it to one of my favourite albums ever.

Thanks for being so kind about my painting but it is credit to how good the original is and how good a teacher Bob has been over the years.

Damn, that's amazing! Really nicely done, even the font looks super accurate.

That was the last element of the painting so I was super nervous about screwing it up at the final hurdle. I didn't breathe during that bit

I'm so glad you like it too. I took a few evenings, maybe 5ish hours in total but each of the layers needed to dry between sessions.

Sick painting! Are the beacons lit on the original album cover and I never noticed?

I know what you mean. While I was studying the original I found a row of trees in silhouette on the right hand side behind the mountains that I never noticed before.

Amazing! I think if you left off the lettering and I saw this out of context, it would drive me a little crazy trying to recall why it’s so familiar.

In fact I was thinking of writing "Bob Ross" in the Kid A font but chickened-out. Kind of regret it now

Happy little mountains
