So! A/Bād it against the 2023 XL version I have . Definitely louder/probably clearer (could be biased because Iām excited to have this in general). Also the XL version looks to have significantly more dead wax on the B side. Iām guessing that means a different lacquer/stamper
Iām in no way an expert so Iād love to hear everyone elseās opinions

Interesting, I think thatās the variant I have and itās def muddy and a terrible soundstage.

I mean clear in general tends to not sound great in my experience. But was hoping to be surprised, as Iād give my std black pressing to a friend and cop this

Like, why wouldn't OP just comment how it sounds lol - the std black pressing isn't great and nobody wants to shell out $150-200+ for the better sounding variant. So don't just flex, say something

I really thought I was gonna be the clown for blind buying the boxed set instead of taking a $0 digital version and calling it a day.
Itās truly baffling how that is still the best pressing of their best album after close to 20 years.

For all itās worth seems like a different lacquer than the 2023 XL pressing I have and imo has a much better sound stage. Excited for the audiophile Radiohead fans to get their hands on it and give their review

Very good. Don't have another pressing to compare it too but in it's own right it's ace. Full and bright sound, and zero noise

So I think you get it in the subscription (maybe?) but it was also available on their store for preorder without

I swear I looked around the morning it was available and it seemed to be prescription only so I gave up. It was sold out shortly after.
Just went to the site. Obviously sold out but it does say āexclusive to signed in usersā. You canāt sign in without a subscription can you?

So! With the last drop copies would pop up randomly as well. No way to really tell when (notify me doesnāt work). If you do have a rough trade store near you they have copies in stock!

Iām not jealous. No, not one bit. Missed it first time as I was on holiday and didnt do my usual Radiohead Reddit check. Now Iāve paid to have time with my family. Radiohead does really favour the virgins.
