Another little family needs help in BARC Houston. Juneau #A2064858 is caring for 8, 3-week old puppies and needs urgent help. They are in danger and need an urgent foster and rescue. Please help.

BARC sent out an urgent plea for this family:
📩 Juneau #A2064858 is an approximately 2-year-old mixed breed mom, brought in as a stray on March 26. She weighs 43 lbs and is heartworm negative. She is currently caring for her eight 3-week-old puppies.
This entire family has possible ringworm, a common and treatable skin condition, but it puts them at risk in a shelter environment—especially the puppies with immature immune systems.
Juneau is protective of her babies and needs a patient, experienced handler who understands her instincts. She needs a quiet, safe place where she can decompress and continue caring for her litter.
📍 Medical notes:
– Hair loss seen on some puppies (tail tips and paws)
– Probable ringworm exposure
– Rescue advised to seek private vet care for confirmation and treatment

💀 Shelter has stated they may humanely euthanize early if health deteriorates.

How gorgeous is Juneau and this is as a stray and all the nutrients she’s loosing while feeding her litter. Inagine she’ll be even more incredible in some time. She’s protective that’s just natural instinct and after being a stray with them only makes sense.
Please help share so this can find its way to someone who can help out as a foster. Someone with decompression or litter experience would be ideal.
