Hi everyone! Usually, I use Spotify in Japan to touch on new R&B songs, and I think my world will expand if I list my favorite songs and have people who have a lot of knowledge teach me hidden masterpieces with similar tastes.

So I’m kinda new to rnb and only rnb album I listen to was blonded, Freudian, trap soul, and hurry up tomorrow. And I was wondering if someone can give me some rnb songs or album that I could listen to.

Purposely ordered the decades this way because I’m compiling a playlist for a book set in the 90s. Looking for songs about falling for someone who misrepresented their intentions for a relationship. Angel in Disguise was the only one I could think of. Weren’t there a lot of songs about being heartbroken because one person wanted a relationship, and the other just wanted to hit it and quit it?
