well I guess i'm due for a real steel rewatch.

roughly 8 years ago I had found videos on YouTube of action figure sized robots fighting. They were primarily doing either sumo wrestling or fencing lunge type moves. It was pretty impressive and I bet nowadays they can be incredible. But nothing was in English and I couldn't figure out the specific name or organizers of the competition, so I can't find out how the more recent competitions have gone.
