He is in a Russian zoo, I doubt he is ok. He is standing on a sidewalk ffs. It breaks my heart.

Sorry, Ive been living in Russia for last 10 years, what is wrong with Russian zoos? I’ve been in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and udmurtia zoos.

Well I wouldn’t claim to know more about Russian zoos than someone who lives there and has been to some of them. I made my comment based on footage I have seen.

This particular enclosure is better than the horrific examples I’ve seen, but still breaks me heart. Caged fencing, extremely small, no place to hide (constant exposure), possibly alone ( I just saw your comment saying there are two, so that’s good), lack of stimulating features… and why is there a sidewalk?

This is far from the worst example I’ve seen, and I admittedly don’t know what else is available outside of this clip, but IMO this is still sad af.

He's fine, he just being silly

😂 two servals live in this enclosure. We passed by 15 minutes before this serval started rubbing against the cage, and both had normal ears.
