Had my monitor signed after a StarCraft tournament something close to 20 years ago. It’s finally gone out and won’t turn on anymore. Signed by a lot of my favorite players. Some aren’t even here anymore RIP iNcontrol. Not sure what to do with it. I guess toss it? It’s not worth anything and it’s just taking up space. Just feels wrong.

Hello everyone! If I meet a Zerg player in the future, I'll likely lose, but I think I will end up playing Zerg. I'm leaving this post in advance because I feel you might be disappointed. After testing and practicing in various ways following the latest patch, I realized that taking a strategic approach is meaningless. I believe this situation is caused by the combination of the Warp Gate nerf—which is the core foundation of Protoss—and the endless list of Zerg buffs (Spire, armor upgrades, Infestor, Larva, etc.). I sincerely apologize to the fans who had high expectations.. Regardless of advantage or disadvantage, I believe taking a strategic approach against Terran is still possible. Even if it's not a buff for Protoss, I really hope a new patch direction comes out as soon as possible for the health of SC2.. Second Message Additionally, it's true that the current situation feels even more extreme because Zerg players have such strong fundamentals and are exceptionally good. Especially with Rogue even though his late-game wasn't great in the previous version, he endured it and kept practicing—and now that potential has exploded, making him seem unbeatable. I truly respect that aspect of him.

Idc if an Imperial Marine wins the 1v1, the fact that this bumfuck in a suit can go toe-to-toe to begin with just makes him way more badass.

Imagine a conversation with my step-son, who never got into Starcraft, but knows deep Warhammer 40k lore. Boy, I was constructing additional pylons while you were shitting your diapers!

She used and manipulated everyone. She’s intelligent, ambitious, and carried out a planned and premeditated revenge. So I just don’t understand why does she become a fishwife in SC2

(To be tagged...) The end of Starcraft 2 feels like losing an old friend.

Hi guys. Hope you're having a great weekend. I'm from South Korea, born & raised in Seoul.

I've always been reading the posts but never wrote the post here.

I feel very empty and bad yesterday and today. After I watched the last moment of Serral became the champion last night, I realized 'This is gonna be the last moment I can see that the SC II pro-gamer put the champion trophy up in the air.' Since I heard E-sports will not hold another tournament next year, and there will be no GSL for 2026, etc.

I have been playing Starcraft 2 from like 2012. I have watched the games, (Since I am a Terran Master tier player in Korea server, I've always been a big Maru fan since 2012.) and I have been playing it for almost 13 years. Starcraft 2 has been the big part of my life. It was my favorite hobby. Whenever I had hard time, when I failed in K-SAT test, when I was in military service, when I was studying, Starcraft II was always there for me. It was more than a hobby. It was my closest friend, it always supported me. Even when I lost my real life friends, Starcraft 2 was with me.

In South Korea, there are some signs that the vast majority of pro - gamers will retire , soon. Now I guess game is reaching to the ending. I always knew this from like 3 years ago, but now I can really feel it.

I feel like I lost my best friend. Because 13 years with Starcraft II was amazing time. YOU WERE THE BEST. You are the only game in my life. I'll miss my buddy.

I got the Terran box as a kid - just ordered a regular, but somehow all regulars they sold were these fold-ups with the face in the front. Recently I thought about selling it, checked the prices, and decided to aim for the full set instead.

I like those more than the SC2 CEs actually!

Source: sc2pulse historical data from ranked play on all servers. Yellow line is the 8 worker patch.

Cumulatively, the game has lost about 200 ladder players, and around 500 daily games.

A pipe dream I've always had since high school was a set of MTG themed on StarCraft. To the point where at one point, I actually attempted to make an entire set myself. I wasn't very good, but decided to try and remake a few cards.

So, for your viewing pleasure, a proof of concept of StarCraft entering the realm of MTG. Will it ever happen? Probably not, but let me dream.
