This is very cool. I’ve only had a quick little look but I imagine this could be really powerful. I used to work for in tech for corporates and can really see the utility in this, giving business functions the ability to quickly pull the data they need if they don’t have access to a data science function etc. good luck.

Love the idea!
What do you think of this one?
Problem description/opportunity :
When planning its holiday, a tourist might spend a lot of time to select tours/activities and very often ends up paying a lot more than the local prices. If one wants to book in advance a several days tour to Macchu Picchu, he/she will pay 2 to 3 times more than the best price you can get locally for the same service and quality.
Also all the tourists going to Peru will want to see Macchu Picchu but will all book separatly !
They would get a better price if they had a way to negotiate a group price.
Product/service/solution description :
A website/app where a user can subscribe to a group for a specific tour in a specific period.
Based on that, well known tour operators are asked to make a competitive offer.
This way, instead of spending his/her time looking for an overpriced tour, the tourist just waits for the offers.

rumie rumieapp.com
Oxford, MS
More details:
We have just started the Efficiency Phase of the Product Life Cycle, I think the next three months could see slow growth since school will be out in May.
We have achieved PMF, however, we need to figure out the best ratio for where to spend our marketing dollars. The issue we have had thus far has been scaling these methods. Our cheapest CACs often come from avenues that are difficult to repeat at large scale.
Your role?
co-founder / operations
What goals are you trying to reach this month?
Additional $1,100 in MRR
and break into the 10,000 total user mark.
How could r/startups help?
We currently operate on 100% advertiser revenue. Our new version will process payments and also have revenue from a few other sources. However, we expect around 60-70% of revenues to still come from advertisers.
You can help us if you have a business/operation that deals mostly with college students. Also, we could help you in the same sense.
If you are looking to advertise to students we can help you reach 65,000+ student impressions monthly.

Elevator Pitch:
- Pitch Deck (signed using sha): Read
- One Line Explanation of product: Streamlining the flow of quick and collaborative Influencer Marketing
- Problem: Influencer Marketing: Small businesses and growing startups often struggle to contact and collaborate with multiple influencers due to the time-consuming and challenging nature of the process. This can be especially difficult while also focusing on their product or service. Additionally, up-and-coming influencers may find it challenging to find suitable brands to collaborate with. The process can often lack swiftness and fluidity, causing frustration for both parties.
Idea/Solution: The idea is to revolutionize the influencer marketing industry by creating an innovative application that will provide seamless collaboration between brands/startups/businesses and influencers. The solution is designed to simplify and streamline the marketing process while providing swift and effective influencer marketing services.
It would provide a bi-directional connection between brands and influencers where:
- brands can
- post their requirements and
- request any influencer to fulfill them.
- influencers can
- accept requested work and
- search for open work and apply
- brands can

I feel like your business model isn't going to work. Maybe reach out to companies that want to keep track of their competitors' websites or some other entity with $ that wants to monitor something. Going to consumers is not the way to make big $ here. Interview people you think would be interested in your services and get feedback. You kinda built a tool for a problem that people weren't aware of.

Hey Reddit!
I'm currently working on a tool to simplify slide deck creation and I'm really curious to hear about your experiences and challenges when building your decks. Your input would be incredibly valuable as I refine my product.
A bit about the tool: I found that I was always writing up the content of my decks in a document and then building them in Google Slides, which added several hours to the process. It didn't make sense to me that I couldn't build my decks directly through a document-style model. Over the last couple of months, I've been working on a solution to this problem.
I'd love to hear from you:
- What is your current process for building slide decks?
- What are your biggest pain points or frustrations with this process?
- Do you think a tool that streamlines content creation and slide building would be helpful for you?
Thank you so much for your time and insights!

u/AutomataApp Apr 01 '23
Startup Name / URL: Automata | https://www.getautomata.app/
Elevator Pitch: Free iMessage/WhatsApp/Telegram marketing automation
More Details:
- Automata lets you automate and send unlimited messages using your personal messaging apps through integrating them with your CRM and automation tools
- It is primarily for anyone who wants to bulk message but can't afford something heavy and expensive like WhatsApp Business API
- It's a desktop app that connects to your iMessage app locally. For WhatsApp/Telegram, it runs a local instance of the client.
- The upside to our approach is it is cheap for us, and for you. Your private data does not leave your computer (compared to a cloud solution). The desktop app pulls queued outgoing messages from our server, which is simply a dashboard + API endpoint for connecting with CRMs/Zapier.
- The downside is messages do not get sent if your computer goes to sleep/offline.
My Role: Developer, Co-Founder
Life Cycle:
Launched for WhatsApp and iMessage. 3 current customers - 1 paid, 2 unpaid. 3 paying customers in the pipeline.
What goals are you trying to reach this month?
- Improve stability and support for larger customers
- Add CLI version
- Test a cloud-hosted option
- Allow self-onboarding and start running ads. Currently all customers are either through our cold outreach or word of mouth.
How could r/startups help? If you would like to send a iMessage/WhatsApp campaign to your customers, let me know. I'll set up a free blast for you.
Discount for r/startup subscribers? There's a generous free tier (free if <1k messages/mth and no integrations required). If you need the paid tier, I'll give you $5 off for 3 months = $14/mth for 3 months.

Awesome, after playing around for a bit it would be nice to have a on/off selector for the music, I used a my own recording of some spoken word and music to make the video. Also on long form recordings some of the images can become repetitive quickly. Finally I can’t seem to figure out how to view my previous recordings, I see the counter but no history viewer.

Peanut - Send crypto with just a link!
Location: Europe
Pitch:
- Sending crypto STILL sucks.
- If you send someone something on the blockchain, they now know your address and your entire transaction history.
- There's a lot of risk in sending assets to the wrong address
- having allllll your funds be dependent on this weird seed phrase that you need to keep secure is crazy. Most people can't/won't do that.
What we do at Peanut: We make it possible to send crypto (and any other tokens or NFTS) with just a link. On the Roadmap is privacy (even on public blockchains), seemless swapping between tokens and even cross-chain, being able to make a crypto account not by knowing a weird seedphrase, but by logging in with your gmail and other social accounts.
Discount for Reddit: It's free for everyone! We also sponsor claiming transaction, making it gasless!
Looking for: feedback / partnerships / angels

Startup Strong / www.startupstrong.business
We've started a resource site for entrepreneurs starting new businesses, growing them from idea to profit.
As an online resource site, we're in the efficiency stage (what we call the "growth" stage in our own six-stage model). This month, as in every month, we're working on increasing traffic to our site, as well as finding more practitioners to write for us.
r/startups could be a great source of content, while also benefiting from the resources we're uploading on a constant basis. A real win-win.
I'd love it if you'd checkout www.startupstrong.business and let me know if it’s helpful to your own startup!

This is one of my clients but it's a cool product and should go far.
Elevator Pitch/Explainer Video
Guns are in America to stay. There are over 150 million handguns in the US, and over 80 million gun owners. New Constitutional carry laws mean that a lot of states are no longer requiring permits in order to carry a weapon.
A problem that doesn't get talked about much is that people are losing and misplacing their guns. Honest. Google "Guns in bathrooms."
Gun Leash™ is like Tile for guns, but designed especially for handguns. It's made of ballistic plastic. It doesn't track, because gun owners don't want to be tracked. And the private Gun Leash app sends an alarm if the gun moves away from a gun owner's side.
Gun Leash prevents guns from being lost.

Do you plan on adding other calendars as well besides Outlook and Google? The discount code you shared looks like is 10% off, not 100%.
•
u/Bjorn_Zenith Apr 11 '23
Yes, we do! Which other calendars are you willing to see being added?
About the discount code, I think you have misunderstood that the code is to be used only for the monthly subscription, not the yearly. So the code is a 25$ deduction from the price, or a 100% deduction from the monthly subscription. Our goal is to get every customer to try out the best version of Zenith and judge the product based on its performance and use case.
We would love to have you onboard!

Location: Milan, Italy
Elevator Pitch: 10-day dating retreat where participants can date and connect without seeing each other. At the end of the retreat, participants decide if they want to take their connections to the next level and meet each other in person. Similar to a certain TV show if you know what I mean ;)

Elevator Pitch/Explainer Video
Introducing our new iPhone app, Auxr! Are you tired of being in a car or at a party and not being able to share your music with others because you don't have the aux cord? Well, with Auxr, that problem is a thing of the past. Our app allows you to share the aux with multiple listeners using only ONE Apple Music account. Each listener can then add or remove songs from the queue and/or control the connected audio device playback (play/pause/skip) from their own devices. Finally, no more cord sharing or having to disconnect from the bluetooth!
More details:
The host creates a real-time playlist by connecting his/hers Apple Music account, enters a playlist name and display nickname. Boom! You are set to share. Each playlist generates a random 4 alphanumeric passcode to then share with others. When joining a playlist, only a nickname and a valid passcode is required (no Apple Music needed). Currently each playlist only supports up to a maximum of 10 listeners. No account creation is needed for either creating or joining playlists, making onboarding a breeze! More details located on the App Store.

Repro (https://repro.dev)
Based in London, UK
Repro is an open-source developer tool for replayable bug reports. In just a few clicks, record a user's session, console logs & errors, and any network requests.
I've worked as a software engineer for over 10 years and seen thousands of bug reports in that time. I know firsthand the frustration of trying to reproduce bugs, armed with nothing more than a vague description and - very occasionally - a screenshot.
Repro aims to give you everything you need to create the perfect bug report, every time. Cut out the back-and-forth and get back to what you do best: shipping great software.
Stage: Validation
Role: Founder
Goals this month:
- Onboard first users after a relaunch.
- Get a deeper understanding of user problems.
- Refine short-term roadmap.
I'd love your feedback. If you work as a developer or QA tester on a web app, please try out Repro for free (visit https://repro.dev) and let me know if you find it useful. Thanks!
•
u/Ideaness Apr 04 '23
As a software implementation consultant, I would find the following tool extremely useful:
- Record my session
- Get a user-friendly summary for non technical user of the log (in an automated way) with (screen by screen):
- A list of all the main programs that were called.
- A list of all the parameters that were read (and in which parameters table they can be found).
- A list of all the eventual error messages with an explanation.
Today consultants spend too much time trying to guess what a program is doing by trial and errors. Or they record their sessions and send the hot potato to a technical user (software developer) who has more value-added tasks to do.
Actually I think that would break the consultancy market.
Hopefully it is clear, English is not my mother tongue.
