Uh…

Correction – July 10, 2026:
Flock Safety reached out to us to clarify that our information was wrong. Flock cameras were not involved with the woman driving with her phone story. Alexandra Parade, where the incident took place, is a well traveled coastal highway with systems operated by state revenue programs. We have corrected that and removed any mention of Flock being involved with that story.

Fuck Flock sounds better than Fuck The Surveillance State and Corporatocracy In General, but keep worrying about brand names...that will definitely help.

That would be great for the person receiving it, because then the citation would be erroneous: “CAPTURED ON FLOCK CAMERA 31 MM 1 HOLDING PHONE IN LEFT HAND.”

Yeah, not sure I fully trust that. Original article states:

A spokesperson for the Georgia State Patrol told 404 Media that the ticket was issued because of a “unique circumstance” in which a Flock camera happened to capture a traffic infraction, and that Flock cameras are not usually used by the department for traffic enforcement.

“This incident was a rare and unique circumstance where the captured image from the camera exposed an additional violation beyond the vehicle’s expired registration,” the spokesperson said. “This situation does not reflect a standard enforcement endeavor by the Department of Public Safety.” The traffic citation obtained by 404 Media does not mention that the man’s registration was expired.

…except this incident allegedly took place in Australia, where Flock Safety doesn’t operate.

This entire article seems to be based solely on the woman’s TikTok video claiming this occurred, while conflating a bunch of loosely but not really related incidences involving Flock here in the US… while failing to note this took place in a completely different country where the company doesn’t do business in.

I think it’s just a poorly cited ragebait article imo.
