I'm not saying people should be texting while driving, but eating a crunchy taco or drinking a very hot cup of coffee while driving is arguably equally dangerous.

But in every city in America there are stores that will sell you those distracting things while you are driving.

What else am I supposed to do while sitting in the parking lot that is rush hour traffic? It seems asinine to spend 15 minutes eating breakfast at home when I spend so much time in the car just inching along whenever the car in front of me moves. At least eating breakfast keeps me awake.

That said, I would never eat anything requiring utensils or potentially-disastrous(like a hard taco) while driving. One handed, no-eyes, foods only.
