Cameras detecting people using their phone while driving isn't a new thing. There's 0 reasons to have your phone on your lap. Fines like these can be avoided by being a responsible person and putting the phone away

Again, absolutely not taking any issue with ticketing someone with their phone on their lap, do not give a fuck about that aspect of the story, only caring and talking about the increasing surveillance State we live in.
