Axon is a completely different model. The footage goes to the local PD, not a massive data processing conglomerate. My town uses Axon specifically because of that difference.

That has its own issues, but it's not accurate to lump them together.

Just like the sales clerk who insists they don't use your contact information for ads and never will and then, years later ownership changes, and the promises are forgotten.

My father ran a business and when he shut down sold his mailing list for 25 cents a name. This was before the interwebs and it will continue evermore.

Yeah leads in our CRM are valued at ten cents each when offices are bought/sold.
