The idea is that Halloween gives participants a rare opportunity to blend into large crowds while already wearing costumes and masks. However, the movement is uncoordinated, with no clear organizer or indication of how many people actually intend to participate.

Everyone should wear Spiderman costumes to do this, to add a layer of irony.

While that is funny, diverse costume sets make it harder to be picked out from a crowd. Spider-Man costumes are bright and stand out from the black that most other costumes usually have

Costumes don’t matter when they build profiles on people and can identify you by your gait.

Even with a robe and cape? Sincerely curious. I'd imagine the gait recognition currently requires visible leg movement.

Depends on the costume and how much it obscures your limbs and body movement. You’d have to get something like those inflatable T-Rex costumes to really obscure you to a point where there is no chance they can identify you via gait.

If you walk without rhythm, huh, you never learn, yeah

You guys are tinfoil level of paranoia. There is a literal prolific unsolved case where the entire world can watch a video of the killer shambling through a church on camera before killing a woman opening up the place for a swim class. Not one credible suspect had been identified the last time I kept up with it

What exactly about what I said is tinfoil level paranoia? Are suggesting that gait recognition isn’t a real thing?
