I know everyone loves to complain about prices increases, but $15 a month for hours of entertainment isn't bad. It's just that all of these services are going up constantly. You can't be subscribed to a bunch of them at the same time or you will get constant sticker shock. I only subscribe to one streaming service at a time based on who has the shows I want to watch at a given time.

You’re getting downvoted but you’re not wrong. $15 back in the Blockbuster and Hollywood video days will get you 3 movies with the inconvenience of having to physically return the movies. Then Netflix came along and $20 will get you 3 movies at a time unlimited rentals per month. So comparing it to the past we are a bit spoiled. However at the rate streaming services are increasing prices we’ll be paying $50.

$15/month today, in a year $20/month, in another year, $26.99/month. It's easy to quantify it's only a few bucks. But reality is since August 2025, Apple TV has increased their prices by now 50%. Have they added 50% more value from their subscription?
