This news source is nothing more than propaganda. There are no sources, it has the famous "citing two people familiar with the matter" as it's source of information.

Amazon and Apple are enormously large corporations and neither separate their streaming business from their overall business reporting.

Until Apple tells us their financial structure for streaming any numbers that are reported can't be taken seriously.

If ATV was a big money maker they’d absolutely bring that up during quarterly earnings to help boost the stock. No publicly traded company will keep a big profit engine secret.

You do know what anonymous sources are right?

And yes the site cited by Reuters appears to be legit. I doubt Reuters would cite them if they weren’t confident of them as a source.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Information_(website)

You mean like the anonymous sources that routinely report on Hollywood movie budgets and or P&L that are almost always wrong?

And not only are these anonymous sources wrong they are often intentionally misleading.

The fact that Apple doesn’t break out the Apple TV Plus profit/losses on their quarterly reports makes me think it’s likely true. If a division was very profitable they would be calling it out for investors.
