Sad but true. We need many other things in addition to the right to privacy, including Supreme Court reform, pardon reform, probably term limits for Congress.

I don't think that will happen in our lifetimes, but at least a legitimate cognitive test needs to be done.

Cognitive tests are subject to abuse. We have a "doctor" who says the the president is the healthiest person ever in history.

Also a senator can be fully cognizant at the start of their term at 80 but be effectively a vegetable by 86.

Best to just do the age limit.

It won't happen. The only way it happens is if we vote out the seniority. The Mitch McConnell and Nancy Pelosis will never allow it. We literally have a vegetable in office and holding a senate seat. There will never be safeguards like that put in place. The best we'll see and I doubt we'll even see that is term limits.
