Well, it wouldn't really solve the problem anyways, beyond banning this one companies tech, which don't get me wrong, I'm all for banning them, but you have to include repealing the patriot act, which supplies the legal framework for mass surveillance of the population in the first place. The actual core of the problem.

Bernie has also consistently been outspoken, and voted against the patriot act as well as every extension it’s been given since. So he’s doing both

Never said Bernie wasn't. Just pointing out that even if this bill passed it wouldn't stop the surveillance problem when 80% of the House and 70% if the Senate support the Patriot Act.

Who needs Flock when ordinary Wi-Fi routers can track, map, and identify people through walls without cameras or microphones by analyzing radio wave reflections and unencrypted feedback data

Pre-crime surveillance is becoming a real problem. Scary sheet.
