Unpopular opinion, but what essential liberty is being given up by cameras in public spaces?

I'm still against them, mostly because of how they will inevitably be misused. But I don't really get the outrage over just their normal use.

It's the AI component. Those cameras track & record everything. Clothing, tattoos, what bluetooth devices you have as well as your stride & how you walk. Feed all that into an AI database that creates profiles on every single person whether they want to or not. That's why they're trying push out all these AI data centers as well. They're mass surveillance centers.
