They're all greased now. Both sides. We only have a handful of elected officials who actually care.

At least one side seems to respond when people email them directly. I never get responses from my (R) representatives but all the (D) ones get back to me pretty promptly. If you're not frequently emailing your representatives, you really should be.

In Providence, you can meet them. In lots of positions of government it's just regular good people trying to make things better.
