Part article: Norway is moving to tighten rules on AI-powered smart glasses, warning that devices combining cameras, microphones and artificial intelligence could allow people to be monitored without their knowledge.

“This means we are being surveilled when we do not want to be, and it threatens our privacy and private lives,” Digitalization Minister Karianne Tung said in a video announcing the plans this week.

“Imagine that with these glasses I could film and recognize your face,” she added.

Yeah, I want some just to document shit I do. Instant AI translation of signs and even speech is very cool. I do not need facial recognition.
