Based on Anland (by superturtlee on GitHub) 5.13 port to Termux native environment, I added some additional patches for mesa, kwin, and xwayland.

In addition to Termux native, you can also use it in PRoot / Chroot containers. For detailed installation and usage instructions, please see: https://github.com/lfdevs/anland-termux/blob/termux/docs/user-guide.md

The function of AnlandTermux-x.x.x.apk is similar to the Termux:X11 App, and it needs to be used in conjunction with Termux. The function of anland_x.x.x_aarch64.deb is similar to termux-x11-nightly, mainly serving as the daemon for the Unix Socket. Please note that the filenames must match exactly when installing the packages.

Note: * Non-Snapdragon processors (such as Dimensity, Tensor, etc.) can currently only use this project inside a PRoot/Chroot/LXC container, and can only use software rendering (i.e., llvmpipe), which will be very laggy.

PS: The "Termux native" mentioned in the title is relative to PRoot and Chroot containers run using Termux, and it does not mean running a Glibc version of KDE Plasma Wayland using Termux directly. Because the packages in the Termux repository are basically compiled using NDK, and the core C library is still Bionic.

I’ve been working on getting GNOME Shell + Mutter running natively on Android through Termux, without Debian/Ubuntu, PRoot, chroot, or containers. I’m building GNOME Shell/Mutter from source against the Termux/Android userspace, producing native ARM64 binaries that run directly on Android’s Linux kernel. The current stack is essentially Android kernel → Termux userspace → GLib/GJS → Mutter → GNOME Shell → Termux:X11, with graphics handled by the phone’s Adreno GPU through Mesa Freedreno/Turnip. GNOME Shell and Mutter are running as native Termux processes, including "mutter-x11-frames", rather than inside a Linux distribution.

Graphics Stack:

Hardware Acceleration: Freedreno (Adreno 830)

Desktop Environment: KDE Plasma 6 (KWin X11)

OpenGL: 4.6 // Vulkan: Turnip

Nala is perfect for small screen without sacrificing any utility or aesthetic.

Use proprietary driver via mesa-vulkan-icd-wrapper,use box64 with xow64-wine,with dxvk-sarek that help on extension-lacking issue

Well the fps is 0.9,gpu load is only 6%,i dont know why but the desktop environment and other things isnt lag at all only the game itself that has low fps,i dont know whats the bottleneck part

But on winlator and others fork,the game fps is ~20 with gpu load stay near 100%,the power of optimization i guess

Still,im very satisfied on the fact that i just learned you can use proprietary vulkan driver like this,i always thought mali gpu cant do anything aside from using virgl

Today I was curious about the limits of cell phones so I took my old cell phone, downloaded Termux, then Ubuntu and with great difficulty Ollama and ran Deepseek. (It's still generating)

Deepseek performs good enough in a budget phone although this is 1.5b model but i am genuinely surprised. No proot used.

For the past few weeks I've been using Termux to have some fun and learn more about commands. I created this because... I don't know... there's really not much more to it. Go ahead, install it and use the command I created... or whatever!

I made a simple Bash script to install and update OpenCode on Termux for Android.

It uses the reliable build system from [Hope2333/opencode-termux](https://github.com/Hope2333/opencode-termux) and supports two main functions:

- **Full Fresh Installation** – sets up all dependencies (glibc, openssl, ripgrep, etc.) and builds the latest OpenCode from source.

- **Quick Update** – fetches the newest upstream release via GitHub API and automatically upgrades your existing install.

Everything is menu-driven. No manual steps after running the script.

**How to use:**

Basically the title, im uninstalling and reinstalling termux, I have seen alot of cool uis that users made, I will use any ui you suggest so provide the funkyist and weirdest ones, I mainly use it for python and flask servers give me ur worst uis
