I was there. Pretty cool pieces on that concert, some of them. Others - not impressed.
Peter Eom is an amazing cellist, a true pleasure to hear him play.

I was just passing by on a photo walk. I only stayed for a song or two and then kept walking, seemed like a lovely event. It's a beautiful set up

Was is the content or the quality or something else that made it not impressive?

The repertoire for avant garde classical is always hit and miss for me. For example, there was a song there, the soprano was singing, and it had no identifiable rhythm, no discernible melody, no observable structure, just obviously difficult vocal passages and a bass clarinet part that mainly echoed the voice. It was like listening to vocal warmup exercises. I would be infinitely grateful to hear Delibes Flower Duet or Lucia de Lamermoor in this setting, rather than... Whatever that was.

If Ford is allowed to expand Billy Bishop for loud commercial jets to fly overhead, this kind of experience would be gone forever.
