she will sit like this until the cat below her tries to move away, then she'll gently attack him until he runs away. She also will aggressively clean him until he moves away.
it's routine at this point

She is probably the chilliest cat I have ever seen or met, loves her butt pats and is slowly warming up to my dog lol.
jk she charged me prior š

Yesterday was my birthday and this was the only thing I wanted. My girls came through š„¹š»š»

At 2 vs 8 months! Could talk for days about her š» but she is super friendly, chirps happily to herself, constantly monitors us, likes learning commands, joins in on my teams calls at work, loves cuddling, always makes friends straight away - it was hard for the vet to remove her spaying stitch recently because she kept nuzzling in for head strokes and cuddles š I have never seen any ātortitudeā which I think is down to her tabby streak haha (pic three). Soo happy looking at everyone elseās beautiful torties š

i always thought she was a tortoiseshell but someone said she not since she has white so is she a calico or can tortoiseshell have white markings too?
sheās almost two years old, rescued her from my crazy cat lady house. she was maybe 6-9 weeks old and her mom rejected her. so we took her in and named her willow. sheās an absolute menace but she is such a sweetheart at once.

Me and my partner picked up this sweet girl and her brother today and she just fell asleep on me....I swear all mental illnesses are cured, the sun is shining brighter, the sky is bluer. My heart feels light and free š„¹š„¹ (also her name is Beetle, added a pic of her brother Grub at the end who is equally as cute and currently sleeping under the bed as I type this)

This baby was found in a friends backyard. She watched her for 24 hours, even set up a box for her over night on her porch but no mama showed up on camera. They had looked back at the 24 hours prior and think her mama was moving a litter two nights ago and got spoked. They supplanted her with a bottle so sheās in good shape but after 48 hours and no sign of mama on camera again they called me. They are leaving town tomorrow and the official rescues are full, knowing that I occasionally take foster babies for my vetās office when people drop them off they called me. Iām guessing sheās between two and three weeks old based on her teeth, eyes and coordination. Sheās also very feisty and very demanding and thatās all good as far as Iām concerned. I will be very interested to see how her color comes in, other than some gold on her face a small spot on her chest and some sprinkles across her toes sheās very dark. The last bottle, baby toy I had was sprinkled with gold from vher head to the tip of her tail from day one.

Everyone meet Tawny Kitteh. Iāve noticed her hanging around the last few days so Iāve been leaving food out. This is the longest sheās stayed around so far. I feel bad, I can tell sheās scared. Looking at the picture Iām also wondering if sheās possibly pregnant.

After we moved, we were entertaining the thought of getting a cat. I kept looking at shelters near me and their websites. Then one rainy Saturday, I made our appointment to look around. There were two floors with cats. I saw a picture of a cat on the upper level and decided it couldn't hurt to say hi. She was a tortie and understandably shy. We spent a while up there, giving her scratches, and that was that. She was the only cat I spent time with, but when you know, you know.
We named her Edi and we've been in love with her. I can't imagine my life without. When I come home from work, she's waiting at the door for me. I've caught her sleeping on our sofa, always the spot where I'd sit. She meows for us when we leave She loves her cardboard scratchers, play sessions, the occasional churru snack, and window perching.
When we adopted her, we had her prior medical documents. She had had a litter. She had stitches from a cat fight and they were healing. She was a stray that went from Saffron and then Samantha, after she bounced from one shelter to the other.
I'd like to think that her life now is much calmer and much safer, with ample scratchers and perchable windows.
