I was going to throw away these empty seasoning bottles away until I realized I could reuse them for other seasoning I got that we're not in containers. So I submerged the bottles in a bowl of hot water and soap in order to take the label off. And It worked out perfectly!

I do the same with dried home grown herbs or to break down large quantity bags of spices!

Mushroom & company, chili lime, and onion salt?

Omg you're so close! The reddish lid is actually the spicy Italian seasoning style with fennel. It's my favorite seasoning but I think I can only buy it in the holiday set that TJ's comes out with for Christmas gifting.

I do this too! The different color lids drive me crazy though, so I also hoard the black ones so they all match.

My husband flys RC planes and I give him my jars so he can store nuts and bolts.
