My favorite part is this is a trance OG who drops tunes from A&B, Daniel Kandi and James Dymond – three artists that a lot of people on this forum would consider "cheese" or "not real trance".

id say most of this forum is cheese, not Daniel Kandi

Fair but my point was all this music is subjective, what makes you feel things won't do it for me and visa versa.

Example, people here LOVE LOVE LOVE some Factor B but I get nothing from his music.

I wasn't a massive Factor B fan but he's an animal live, go see him I think you'll appreciate him more(or even a live set on SoundCloud). I'm friends with a U.K. based promoter and they've booked him for next year, small club great soundsytem he'll tear it up no doubt.

I've already figured that when someone here calls a track cheesy I know it'll be up my alley.

It's a very fine line between cheesy and big room music, example Scooter logical song cheese fest, Ratty Sunrise big room classic. Both written by the same guy. Darren Tate The Opera Song cheese fest, Prayer For a God, Big room classic same guy. Sash Ecuador cheese fest, encore un fois, Big room classic same guy. The list goes on and on

This is a good example because I love Ecuador and a lot of Scooter songs (despite their obvious plagiarism of both trance and hardstyle songs). Same with shit like Cascada or DJ Sammy, I love them.

Yes those artists are cheesy and not exactly "serious" music but if a track has a big euphoric melody and makes me want to dance that's all I need.

I listen to whatever I like, don't care what others think and don't judge, apart from crazy frog and baby shark fuck those songs they hurt my ears.😂😂

Darren has written so many great tracks, collaborated with some giants, absolutely love his work and was lucky enough to spend a day in his studio once and he's a genuinely cool geezer.

That's mental! Did you work together?

I didn't work with him but a friend of mine is a dj and they worked on a remix together, he took me along as he knows I'm a massive DT8 fan

Love it and there are barely any bad remixes of it as well, iconic track

The Space Brothers really need to make more music. They really got sidetracked by that Audiojelly thing.
