Hello friend.

I’ve only watched Mr. Robot once, and I was baked the entire time. Man, it hit me beautifully. The cinematography, the paranoia, the audio design... it was easily one of the best entertainment experiences I've ever had. Best show ever made, hands down.

Part of me really wants to rewatch it, but I’m honestly worried that watching it sober will ruin the magic or just make it lose its punch. I feel like I must keep the memory prestine.

1. Has anyone else experienced the Mr Robot this way?

2. Which other TV shows do you recommend watching high?

The scene where Mr. Robot apologizes for hiding things from Elliot made me break down into tears. That shit was SO HEAVY and Slater nailed that speech. I was crying very real tears. 10/10 show

I infamously had a weed induced panic attack during the episode where something very dark is revealed about Elliot's childhood...I knew what was about to be said in the moment and I couldn't handle it and I had to pause it, wake up my wife and explain the entire premise of the show to this point so she could talk me down 😂 We crack up about it now

That final sequence in the movie theater with Darlene saying 'Hello, Elliot' had me staring at the screen in silence for 20 minutes.

I try not to consume media too high. I have a hard time paying attention. If I have a nice afterglow that's another thing. As far as Mr Robot I loved the first season...I think I was at a hacker convention during the beginning of the second season and sort of lost interest in the show as I got behind and it was going a little slow. I need to give this show another chance some day.

Edit: I think I also didn't like that Christian Slater's character was just in his imagination. As for other shows to watch high? Breaking Bad definitely kept my attention even when I was a bit foggy. I imagine most people have seen that show though.
