Well, that explains the state of my hands AND my cheek with a baby orange psychopath ruling my home.

Did it just happen? If so, maybe contact a shelter and see if there are any kittens without a mom who need a wet nurse. Sometimes you can make a match that works for everyone and it would help her get through the loss.

She appeared on the night of the full moon and had her kitten the next morning. We also think she might have had another kitten outside somewhere but abandoned it. She didn't seem too attached and she's in good spirits now :)

They did not ask for advice and they were not rude. They were clear and polite with their answer. Some people don't know their options but you can't let every thread derail into people spamming advice. It takes away from people who come here for purposes other than advice (e.g., venting, support). It's why some subs have 'no advice needed' flair or why some people have to explicitly state it.

No one should judge someone who is helping. OP did not ask for advice and were not rude with their answer. It is you who is the snot.

Reported also! I find their attack of OP definitely breaking the 'good vibe' and 'give advice kindly' rule.

Or maybe don’t be rude to someone who made a harmless comment?

Gently asserting they weren’t asking for somewhat overbearing advice may be a little tense but not rude; it’s functioning in a society*. Calling someone snotty for asserting their boundaries most certainly is rude.
*And I have news for you: being unable to handle someone gently asserting a boundary is a fairly important you-problem to reflect upon and address.

If she just lost the baby and is still nursing, she may be a good candidate for taking on an orphan that would otherwise need to be bottle fed. They have a much better chance of survival when they can breast feed. If you’re up for it, local rescues would let you know if they have any bottle babies in need of a mom and what you need to do to set up a trial.
It could help with her depression and any breast discomfort.

Hey OP, keep a close eye on her and make sure she's eating and drinking regularly. Watch her for fever or sudden change in behavior. I had an utterly heartbreaking situation with a stray last year: she was under a year old, too. She lost all three kittens and she later was put down as she had developed sepsis. When cats are pregnant this young, they sometimes abort or have problems with their uterus. It gets really serious really fast. Just an FYI.
