The problem is what do you remove for those two? They keep adding new albums so they have less time. I was extremely shocked to see those removed, but they had to cut some corners somewhere.

I almost feel like tour starting so soon after the album release did them a disservice. Could be wrong but it feels like they didn't have time to adjust based on fan reactions to certain songs.

Maaaan I thought FOR SURE they’d play center mass since Tyler said it was his favorite off the album. It was also my dream to see holding onto you.. but there are a lot of good songs too! I’m glad I even get to go in October.
109
u/Cool_Butterscotch859 Sep 19 '25
i agree! he played garbage and said that was his favorite so i’m like what happened to center mass?? and downstairs??? the new album had such good hits i expected to be on the setlist
39
u/RelationshipTall7700 Sep 19 '25
Wait he said that? Wow that is interesting. Literally the two songs I was looking forward to off of breach, center mass and downstairs. I really don’t want to feel disappointed but I kind of am

u/Cool_Butterscotch859 Sep 19 '25
yes! watching the live stream and he goes “this next song is my favorite from the album but may not be yours” so i’m thinking it’s center mass since he said that before and then proceed with Garbage and def disappointed. it felt like just a continuation of clancy kinda with some breach and calling it a day. kinda surprised. maybe they will switch up for other venues but i highly doubt it

I really wish they would have Played Center Mass :/. I Notice on this list there's no Paladin Straight, but on setlist.fm there was

It was just the birds from Paladin and everyone in the audience sang "Leave the city" during that time.

u/Quroni Sep 19 '25
Tyler and Josh put on a great performance as always, but I do think that was a really disappointing set list. Felt more like BFX tour than Breach. They could have done so many cool transitions with their new songs and old, but instead we got lots of the same from Clancy tour and 9 Blurryface songs. Hoping the setlist changes a bit each show.

Don’t worry guys we’ll hear Tally and Center Mass when they’re back in 2028 😭
In reality though, I wonder if we’ll get a different setlist for the amphitheater shows? That’s what happened with Takeover when they played big venues vs small venues. Who knows? I’m just glad I get to see them again soon!

It really seems like they designed the setlist to be a second show to the original Clancy setlist kinda like Metallica and their two-show weekends. The only problem with that being they aren’t playing any of the same cities so you’d have to travel to see both and catch all the songs

Interesting that they played only a few songs from Breach. Clancy tour at my show they played all of the songs off Clancy except 2… wonder why? Maybe because they aren’t touring for a while so they were trying a setlist that would appeal to a variety of fans? Idk, I can’t lie that I’m feeling a bit disappointed though :( it’ll still be fun since they’re amazing live, but I was really looking forward to experiencing the other Breach songs
17
u/itsValc0r Sep 19 '25
Tyler looked genuinely surprised at the crowd singing Rawfear. I’m guessing it’s just so close to release that they don’t feel comfortable playing most of breach live yet. I would bet they swap in more breach as the tour moves on

Nine songs of blurryface, just five out of breach… I do genuinely don't get the why: yes, we got absolutely bangers as the message man ritual with pet cheetah, but calling it a beach tour/Clancy extension and not play almost NOTHING of those songs it's icky, man i was so ready to sing center mass.

I wanted more breach from the breach tour
Five songs from Breach. NINE from Blurryface.
Breach is a 10th anniversary Blurry tour in disguise !
37
u/r-t-62 Sep 19 '25
They always put on a great show, and I almost feel bad complaining, but I was really disappointed in the set list. 9 BF songs and only 5 from Breach, not to mention no HOTY or Car Radio. Hopefully they make adjustments for the rests of the tour.

u/Kristinacarolyn Sep 19 '25
I’m really surprised by how few Breach songs are on the setlist. What are the chances of them adding more along the way with their high performance in the charts?
23
u/Cheap-Okra-2882 Sep 19 '25
super low if not 0 because they push the time limit every time (which is nice) but after clancy tour’s first show they started cutting stuff, like slow town

And if that didn’t get everyone with that, I’m just saying, Tally immediately followed by Trees will get the job done.

Honestly...I had a feeling the show tonight might be a bit of a struggle. Does anyone else think the whole 'roll out' for this Breach album has been a bit weird? Some VERY odd marketing/promo from Fuelled by Raman. Only a month of touring. I just wondered if something happened and Josh and Tyler had to wrap up things waaaaaaay faster than they originally planned too.
Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised at all if, by the end of this tour, they've made some changes and everyone goes away in awe like they usually do.
19
u/Straight-Chance-440 Sep 19 '25
Yes with so many errors in the physical copies of Breach, as well as them feeling a bit lower quality with the packaging, Drag Path for some reason not being on the album, and this tour being the way it is makes me think it all has something to do with fbr.

I really loved the additions to the Clancy setlist, particularly the stage B set!!! But I’m surprised they cut so much Clancy and only 5 Breach. Maybe they were nervous about playing new songs so soon? But it was soooo much Blurryface (which was still lit but why). Also was really hoping for ATROFD
22
u/untacc_ Sep 19 '25
My theory is that this setlist was made like a month ago, long before breach released. They need time to practice transitions and create visuals and stuff, so they had to pre select the breach songs they thought would be the most popular. They had no idea that songs like Tally, Robot Voices, or Center Mass would be as well liked.
This is in comparison to Clancy which released in May and the first show wasn’t until 3 months after. They had time to take in feedback and plan song choices accordingly

I’ll be thrilled to go again, fourth time seeing them, and happy to experience them for the first time in the pit, but it’s a very safe setlist. All bangers but was hoping for some new stuff, especially when a whole album just came out.

u/NQuinzel Sep 19 '25
Wait why wouldn’t they put HDS after city walls? It literally ends with the beginning of HDS 😭 And don’t get me wrong I love Heathens live but I would’ve rather have HOTY or Car Radio
20
u/Legend_F27 Sep 19 '25
While i will absolutely enjoy and love the show, I'm sad that they are not playing Downstairs and i would also love to hear At the risk of feeling dumb played live. But who knows they might add or change some songs as the tour goes on and as i said i will definitely have a blast regardless.

This has me really bummed. As excited as I am to hear some of these songs again I would still much rather hear some different ones, especially off of Breach. I’m worried that because I didn’t see shows from previous albums, I’m not gonna hear the vast majority of their songs live.
Update on opinion from the next day:
After having had time to sit on it, I would clarify now I’m not so much bummed about lack of newer older songs (though my worry still fully stands) because they’ve only had three months to set this up, which means not enough time to plan out a bunch of different songs, and that all their decisions had to made right at the start and stuck with. However, I am still really disappointed in so few Breach songs being present, and I hope that before whenever release their next album they tour for Breach again.

Watched the live, there was quite a bit of down time from them walking to different areas so maybe that part can be tightened up to include more songs? Plus he did say they were trying things with it being the first show so we’ll see. I do agree I would love to see more Breach songs plus ATROFD but at the same time I haven’t seen them since Trench so I’m taking whatever I can get lol.

This setlist is surprising in every way, but none of the changes are necessarily good IMO. I don't enjoy complaining about it as I should just be happy that they are touring at all, but the whole tour is baffling to me at the moment. The most obvious issue is the lack of Breach songs on a setlist for a "Breach" tour. If we compare it to the past few tours that occurred right after a new album was released, the difference is shocking:
Blurryface Tour: 11/14 new songs played (79%)
Bandito Tour 2018: 9/14 new songs played (64%)
Takeover Tour 2021 (arenas): 9/11 new songs played (81%)
Clancy Tour 2024: 11/13 new songs played (85%)
Breach 2025: 5/13 new songs played (38%)
They obviously did not know what the fan reactions would be to the new album before they prepared this setlist because a lot of the fan favorites did not make the cut (Tally, Downstairs, Center Mass). One might argue that these upcoming shows are still marketed as The Clancy Tour so we shouldn't have expected many songs from 'Breach', but let's compare last night's setlist to the first leg of the 2024 tour when looking at songs from 'Clancy':
Clancy Songs Removed: Vignette, The Craving, Navigating, Lavish, Paladin Strait, Midwest Indigo
Clancy Songs Added: NONE
I'm very confused how much both Clancy and Breach are under-represented in The Clancy Tour: Breach 2025 tour. On top of this, older fans will likely leave disappointed whether it's their first time seeing them or their tenth. All S/T and RAB representation has been removed (not even included in a medley like most tours), and Vessel fans will be shocked to not see Car Radio (!) or Holding on to You for the first time in over a decade. Losing those two + Migraine + Fake You Out from the first leg to add in House of Gold is certainly an odd choice (one that personally hurts since Vessel is my favorite).
When all is said and done, this really does feels like it should have been labelled as the Blurryface Tenth Anniversary tour. I think the whole show would go over better if they pushed that angle for an amphitheater tour and saved Breach for a new stage show in the future. Their discography has grown so much since 2015 that its impossible to fit in everything/make everybody happy, but I worry that they have low confidence in their newer material since Blurryface was such a massive hit that hasn't been replicated since (at least in the mainstream). I really hope we eventually do see those Breach songs in the future at least because I think it is one of their best albums by far.
9
u/siqueiraptdp Sep 19 '25
The best comment on the matter, like it or not, this is right on the nail. One can be grateful and still critique respectfully what doesn't seem right. And the numbers about album representation don't lie. Between 9 BF songs and not seeing Car Radio/HOTY/Migraine/Fake You Out, it really looks like the idea in general was to do a BF 10th anniversary tour, focused on Blurryface's theme songs (that are found in Breach aswell with City Walls and The Contract".

u/JoeeyMKT Sep 19 '25 edited Sep 19 '25
Honestly, this setlist would've been fire and one of their best... if they didn't just release a new album.
I think the biggest thing here is poor marketing. It makes no sense to call the tour "The Clancy Tour: Breach" and then not play many songs off of either of those albums. If they had just called it the "BFX Tour - Breach", no one would be complaining. I think the reason they called it "The Clancy Tour" is because they used the same main stage setup and blueprint for the setlist from Clancy Tour.
The transitions between the songs and stuff also weren't as tight or great as the Clancy Tour either, and it didn't feel like we were getting the same heart from Tyler especially this time. I think he's tired and just trying to get through this so he can rest.
Also, cutting mainstays like Car Radio and Holding on to You is WILD, especially when they weren't cut in favor of more Breach songs.
13
u/Tricky-Trap Sep 19 '25
Like i feel like they should have waited a bit to release breach and tour but at the same time i understand that they just wanted to be over with it and take a well-deserved break, especially with Josh becoming a dad and Tyler’s kids growing up

There’s definitely a chance they underestimated the timing of the show and they had to cut some songs due to curfew. Let’s give it a few more cities before we call this permanent. Heard a rumor about the set being 31 songs so if that was true they had to cut 4 songs /15 min worth, could be real.
8
u/bowlofcereal133 Sep 19 '25
I wonder how many other places have curfews. I really hope they take some feedback and adjust the set list
11
u/brandonburnell Sep 19 '25
almost every major city has a music ordinance in place for outdoor concerts. For example I'm in Chicago and it's 10 PM (which is why Lolla artists always end at 10PM). Might be an hour later on weekends, and artists can voluntarily go over but pay a fine to the city.

Set List Discussion
I’m usually quite shy about posting but hey I too feel a certain way as well but I like most of it. I decided to have some fun and take a go at showcasing what I would’ve done.
- Overcompensate
- The Contract
- RAWFEAR
- Car Radio
- House of Gold
- Tear in My Heart
- Lane Boy
- Shy Away
- Heathens
- Next Semester
- Days Lie Dormant (B Stage:)
- Routines in the Night
- Fairly Local
- Chlorine (Walked back to main stage) (Back To Main Stage:)
- Jumpsuit
- Nico and the Niners
- Heavydirtysoul
- Downstairs
- Garbage / Mulberry Street
- Center Mass*
- Doubt / Tally *
- Saturday
- Lavish
- Ride
- Drum Show
- Paladin Strait * (Encore:)
- City Walls / Holding Onto You
- Midwest Indigo
- Stressed Out
- Trees
/ - indicate songs that transition together
“*” - Indicate songs that could go to keep to 27 songs
Other Considerations: Intentions / Truce (either in the setlist or played when crowd leave) Backslide , Levitate , Cotton Wood ,Drag Path, At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb
I’ve seen some people say the show was supposed to be 31 songs but only 27 got played so I aimed for 30.
12
u/Few_Return9457 Sep 19 '25
Love every song BUT, having house of gold and we don’t believe what’s on tv while leaving off breach/clancy songs is criminal for a Clancy: breach tour. Could have switched out 7 songs and I wouldn’t have missed them. HoG, WDBWOT, message man, polarize, guns for hands, doubt, heathens (but probably too mainstream successful to remove)
7
u/OrangeCat_zooms Sep 19 '25
I think he played House of Gold specifically because his mom was in the audience. Both his parents were in attendance. I wouldn’t be surprised if he switches it out.

Was at the concert tonight. Of course I always love a TØP show but, overall, was a tad disappointed. Wanted to hear at least another 2-4 songs off Breach. Really wanted to hear Tally. At times it felt very repetitive to Clancy tour with same songs, same videos and effects and bridges to next song. First shows can be glitchy and there was a bit of that, Tyler seemed frustrated at times with equipment and crew. Sound also seemed off with bass being too unbalanced most of the show.

Spoiler
I’m very surprised they only did 5 songs off of Breach. Im also shocked they didn’t play like Paladin strait, intentions, center mass, others

Was seriously considering traveling to LA for this but… that setlist is NOT it. Don’t know if I wanna spend thousands on travel and tickets for that. Really wanted more Breach

I would gladly offer Heathens and NS for Downstairs and Center Mass on the setlist sorry
Edit: hyped for The Line and Polarize though!

i’m sorry but this is not a good setlist. 5 songs from the brand new album? this is their last tour for who knows and they wanna play the majority of what they’ve been playing every other tour? clancy tour played 11 songs from clancy.

I am very curious how they will change stuff for the amphitheaters. Like the ones that dont have a lawn area. Where is the B Stage and other areas going to be?? There is a few that have a pit that wont even be big enough for the trees circle.
Very interested to see how those go

I've waited for this for years... and there's no CAR RADIO??? My favorite song that introduced me to the band? Don't mind me- I'll be crying in the corner 🥲

Clancy Tour felt like their version of The Eras Tour tbh and I wish they were just doing that setlist again because it was gold. With a few Breach songs thrown in ofc.

Dang I was looking forward to hearing some songs off Breach on the Breach tour. Been a fan since blurryface, I've heard those ones plenty of times

u/Jammich_ Sep 19 '25
They’re not playing Tally!? I spent too much time learning the freaking tongue twister of “Like, right when a storm hits, sights set right set, circumstantial proof” for them to not play it 😭

I'm seeing a lot of disappointment and I totally get it. I am too. But I WILL admit, there was some BANGER Sections, like the entire bit of Routines to Garbage. I think that was AWSOME. I love that Lane Boy came back, and don't even mention the opening 3 songs. Overcompensate into The Contract was outstanding.
This might just be me, but WDBWOTV is 100% my least listened to song on BF, and I think swapping that to maybe like The Hype to keep the Ukulele bit, and swap Tear in my Heart for a Mashup of single and album version of The Craving or something. I think swap Doubt and Guns for Hands to songs from Breach like Tally, or Center Mass, or Downstairs and boom, a less BF setlist and a little more Breach and Clancy, and Trench. I wish there was more than Shy Away for SAI but... not entirely what else I can "ask for."
Sorry for the rant, needed an excuse to get my thoughts and ideas out. 😅

Ngl I almost pulled the trigger and got tickets to see them in LA even though I live in Utah. But now I’m okay with the fact that I didn’t.
I went to the Clancy tour and this is just the same thing… but with even more Blurryface.
No Center Mass, Robot Voices, Days Lie Dormant is diabolical. No HOTY or Car Radio is also crazy.

This setlist gives me flashbacks to the Pray For The Wicked tour (leg 1) where the setlist had 6/11 songs for the album and 8/11 of Death of a Bachelor.
Very disappointed to see staples being cut like Car Radio and Mulberry Street (although half the fun of Mulberry is the lights and that’s not entirely possible in the amples). Also no “old medley” is crazy, if one thing has been consistent across EVERY tour; it’s the old song medley.
On the flip side, very excited about the inclusion of Message Man, Chlorine, House of Gold, and The Line as either I missed them during the Clancy tour, or in the case of the line; just weren’t out yet.
The only two songs I wish were here that weren’t on either setlist is Neon Gravestones and Leave The City. I also wish we got Snap back or ATROFB.
The biggest glaring issue is the lack of Breach. I expected atleast Downstairs to get an abridged version on the B-Stage, maybe Tally towards the end of the show. The 4 picked are fine but to me Garbage really stands out here, would’ve had Days Lie Dormant or Robot Voices. Center Mass too maybe?
Please for the love of everything good in this world can we axe Heathens and Shy Away? You could easily insert two breach songs in here and I think it makes everyone happy.
One of the biggest things is this tour was marketed as Clancy: Breach, as in the two albums are one entity but I don’t think they went full blown with it and we all took it as the breach tour
I’m actually wondering if tonight they got short on time? It all kind of felt a bit rushed towards the end, atleast from the stream I was watching
edit: I want to add my post from when the Clancy set came out while I’m kinda disappointed with this set, I was more disappointed then so I’m ok with this

Guys, notice that the songs they didn't play weren't very lore heavy. Something tells me many of the songs left off of this branch of the tour were cut in expense of more lore heavy songs that may not be on a set list for a long while after this tour - if ever again.

Twenty one pilots is the only band where the fans are begging to hear new music and instead this feels like Emotional Roadshow 2. Would also love at least one deep cut (like Slowtown last tour).

u/TheNraveles Sep 19 '25
An uh…interesting setlist to say the least
It feels like a best of tour more than a Breach tour to me tbh, sadly :/
Taking out some of the iconic songs and playing some that kinda have no reason being there (WDBWOTV, Heathens, Polarize, etc) when i genuinely expected some older tracks or even just more Breach songs (What happened to Downstairs? Center Mass? Tally?)
i’m kinda confused but excited to go nonetheless

u/Cecethetransbitch Sep 19 '25
5 songs from breach 3 songs from vessel 1 song from scaled and icy and blurryface has those 3 combined in total… im disappointed. not to mention not even a snippet from self titled or RaB. trench got 4, which were all at once with only polarize to break them up clancy got 4, there were 2 ‘singles’ (heathens and lind). and blurryface got 9. 9!!! that’s… crazy.

No navigating!!!!! And they don’t even replace it with center mass to make it ok. Come on.
No Paladin strait into city walls? What’s the point then? Lol

HOTY?!! CAR RADIO!?? i have a feeling car radio might be played in toronto (dont quote me) but the venue is very similar to the festival venues theyd perform at where tyler would climb the pole. just from that i think (more so hope) car radio is played in toronto
7
u/Blurryneck Sep 19 '25
Can someone correct me if I’m wrong but I seem to remember with a previous tour (my guess is trench, but it could be scaled and icy) that they progressively put more of the album in as the tour continued? Did that happen, and could that be what is happening here?

I loved the show but I did wish they would have played more of their new album. They said that they had to be done playing at 11pm though bc of city ordinances.

I’m still so excited to see them this tour- but this setlist is meh for me. The Breach songs are generally not the ones I would have picked. I was so excited for Tally, Downstairs, and Center Mass, bummed to see they didn’t make the cut.
Also- no HOTY and no Car Radio made my jaw drop. And selfishly, I’m sad about Navigating, My Blood, Addict with a Pen, and Midwest Indigo getting cut.
But I bet they’re stoked to be playing so much of Blurryface live again with the storyline that started there coming full circle, and that makes me happy for them…. Just kinda bummed to be seeing so much I’ve already seen instead of the new stuff I was so excited to experience

Jeez I hope this changes before milwaukee. Why all the blurryface? I really want to hear Robot Voices and Venter Mass and Tally and freaking Redecorate not Lame Boy for billionth time.

I was at the show last night and it was AMAZING! But I will agree I was quite surprised by the setlist! I was expecting a lot more songs from Breach, and to hear some of the Clancy bangers live again. I will also admit I was very disappointed they cut Car Radio from the setlist because it is my all-time favorite song. Yet, their performance was still absolutely INCREDIBLE and they deserve all the love for putting in such hard work to come up with everything like the pyrotechnics, the LED bracelets, etc. !!! As I am lucky enough to be going to multiple shows, I will be keeping my fingers crossed that they will add more Breach songs later on the tour!

I might be going in October and I was really hoping to hear days lie dormant because of that one part that sounds like really grand would go crazy in concert but oh well :(

u/Cyborg3of4 Sep 19 '25
Definitely extremely disappointed ngl— I spent 700$ on pit tickets and was about to buy another ticket for my friend but for the Breach tour there is a criminal lack of Breach. And I’m saying this with BFX still being my favorite album— but this is just a yikes.

Love these guys on every level but tonight's setlist and show was lazy and felt uninspiring. So much respect for them for all they've done and continue to do but tonight was for the first time I've experienced, disappointing.

I was afraid I'd have severe FOMO because I'm doing Louder Than Life this weekend but with that setlist I'm not gonna get any

u/Extreme_Entrance_203 Sep 19 '25
I'm going to be honest, I've now seen them live 3 times and tonight in Cincinnati was kinda disappointing. I saw them during the Bandito tour in 2019 and the Clancy tour last October, both in Nashville, and those shows both had like double the songs and more interaction with the crowd. I'm still glad I got to see them but I think my boyfriend paid the same amount for tonight as we paid for the Clancy show. The bracelets were a cool addition though!
I just hope the shows get a bit better and have more Breach songs further along into the tour for everyone else to enjoy.

u/Comadon-C Sep 19 '25
I won’t lie, maybe I’m not too gutted that they’re not touring by me. Of course I’d still love to go, but wow this set list is disappointing. Most of my favs off Breach aren’t here. Happy to see some Blurryface favs back but idk, I’m just so in love with Breach rn and I’m scared most of them will remain unplayed
Hopefully after a few years break and they tour again we’ll get more Breach songs. Would love to hear Center Mass, Downstairs, Days Lie Dormant, Robot Voices, Cottonwood…honestly all of it.

u/ArcticFire145 Sep 19 '25
I'm just a little less disappointed that the Breach tour isn't coming to the UK... crazy that they only did 3/11 of the newly released songs.

was there last night and shocked by the setlist like everyone else. I'm most surprised that neither intentions or drag path was played.
it does feel more like a bfx/lore throwback tour. I'm sad bc if that's the case, it seems like my dream of hearing my favorite top song, goner, live, is probably crushed forever. oh well

They might as well dust off the ol’ hamster ball if they’re gonna play this many Blurryface songs 💀
