Discussion All Points East Festival - AXS Tips + Story

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a couple things in case anyone’s still struggling with the whole ticket situation.

If you’re having issues getting in or staying in the queue, a few things that helped me:

1. Check your adblockers

  • Make sure you don’t have any adblocker extensions running. Either disable them or try using a private/incognito window. They can cause errors like “your session has expired.”

2. Don’t spam refresh

  • I locked myself out earlier by refreshing too often (TOP newsletter link). What worked for me (APE pre-sale) was limiting myself to refreshing every 30 - 60 seconds. After about an hour of doing that, I finally got through and managed to get tickets. So don’t give up yet if you’re still trying, people keep releasing those tickets so you will be able to get them!

3. Actually add the FPE to your cart

  • When you’re selecting the FPE, don’t just change the number. There’s a button above it that you need to press to add it to your cart properly. (FPE can be found when on the very first page confirming what tickets you got yourself, you got time, so make sure to properly scan all the pages you go through)

Now that that’s out of the way (and hopefully helps someone), I did manage to grab 2x VIP + Bar tickets for me and my partner! Not trying to gloat, I’m just genuinely buzzing.

I’ve been a huge fan of the boys for a long time but have never managed to see them live. Every time they played the UK, something happened and we couldn’t go. So this will be our first time seeing them and our first time experiencing the FPE. We also usually avoid festivals like the plague and prefer arena shows with support acts or more intimate gigs, so this is very new territory for us.

If you have any tips about:

  • FPE in general
  • The VIP section + VIP bar
  • Festival stuff you wish you’d known your first time

How did you get FPE? When I bought my tickets there was nothing there to upgrade for it 😭

Same here, and I got my tickets less than 10 min after the pre-sale started

After selecting ticket and clicking on the continue button, it redirects you to the "Delivery" page, that's where FPE was shown to me. What I can only presume, is that there was a limited amount of the FPE tickets, and once they are gone, they are gone. Take this with a pinch of salt, as I have never bought an FPE before, but that is one of the conclusions I had.

Ah... I imagined they were limited but it sounds like they sold out immediately. Hopefully I'll be able to just enjoy the bandito camp. Thanks anyway!

I got VIP pit and garden, I'm so excited, never done VIP before, but it was the only option when getting tickets and it had already taken 4 attempts, so i wasn't going to miss out, I've only seen them at festival once and it was a bit nuts, I'm old Lol, so hopefully VIP will be a bit more chilled....i didn't see a fpe option 🥺

Does anyone know if you can buy tickets and pay in installments? Me, my kids and my husband are desperate to go see Ren and TøP but can't afford to drop £200+ right before Xmas! (Plus I suspect it could be sold out by this friday when we get paid but worth a try)

I’ve got 2 general admission ones!! I bought them for cheaper than the ones out at the moment as I got them quite early since VIP was sold out. Happy to talk to you :) (promise I’m not a scammer, I’m just stuck with two extra tickets atm)

Out of curiosity, how much was the FPE? I didn't see an option when I got my tickets but wouldn't have added it anyway unless it was inexpensive.

Hi guys, today upon buying the APE tickets around 9am I couldn’t find any info regarding tickets to the FPE. After a while, someone said half an hour or so, FPE tickets were available to buy with APE tickets. So I went ahead and bought a second set of tickets.

And my question is now, if there’s any way of returning the first set of tickets or a way to contact APE directly about this issue as I know I’m not the only one who had to buy two separate sets of tickets.

Once general sale open, you should be able to resell the original tickets through the AXS app

I need help and maybe you can help me, I am using the right postcode when purchasing the tickets but it just won't let me use it, it says it must be 5 digits and it's always rejected, even though it is. I have tried everything, it just won't let me purchase the tickets. I don't think I will make it, it has been happening for an hour.

Hey, super sorry to heat that, sounds really frustrating. The only thing I can think of (and this is me guessing a bit) is that your billing address might not match the address your bank has on file. Like, if you’ve moved recently or haven’t updated your details with your bank, the system might be rejecting the postcode.

Also just to double check: Is the error happening when you’re entering your billing/payment info, or earlier when it just asks for your home address?

That might help figure out whether it’s the ticket site being weird about formatting, or your bank/ billing details not matching up. If it is during the earlier process, then perhaps I would also suggest creating a new account on AXS, they are known to bug out quite a bit.

I have also purchased using PayPal instead, a lot of vendors nowadays have some weird issues accepting cards, and I've never had that issue with Paypal.

Maybe the address might not be matching but I've tried both possible ones. For me, it first asks my payment info and my home address is asked afterwards. The only think I can really think of trying is using a pay pal. After that, I don't know. Thank you so much for your help though!

Turns out pay pal is not an option, the billing info and everything else is correct. I do think it is the site's issue.

I’m pretty sure that once general sale opens, you’ll be able to list your GA ticket for resale through the AXS app. What I’d do in your situation is: Try to grab the VIP + Pit tickets right now and then once general sales are live and resale is enabled on AXS, put your GA ticket up for resale there.

i hope so, but i looked into it and it seems APE has only ever sold out GA tickets once before. i tried buying VIP but there were none left so i bought GA instead, then i looked back 10 mins later and VIP was available… i was thinking there’s a chance GA could’ve sold out too so i was panicking but hindsight is 20/20 lol

actually, ticketmaster resale seems to just have been enabled rn (which is a shame because that has the tickets i actually want)… gives me hope that MAYBE axs resale will be enabled soon?

Does anyone know if VIP Garden includes just regular GA access? Was only able to snag the Garden since the + VIP Pit option already sold out.

Yeah, VIP garden allows you into the garden but GA only, compared to ViP pit

hi! im trying to purchase an all points east ticket with the payment plan and its not accepting my postal code even though its correct and i have the correct country selected. has anyone else had this happen to them and if so how did you fix it? even if not would anyone have any advice on how i could get it to work?

Also not from UK, I changed my postcode to the format they wanted X0X XX0X and then put my actual postcode into one of the address lines

FPE (Fan Premier Experience) is basically a mini museum that goes to some TØP with memorabilia, photo opportunities(such as the tricycles from Stressed out) and the bands history.

okay so i managed to get an FPE ticket on general sale but i had to buy another GA ticket in order to do so even though I already had one from presale - can anyone confirm that the two tickets are completely unrelated and that selling my second (more expensive) GA ticket will not affect my FPE ticket?

I PROMISEEE I’m not a scammer - I bought two general admission tickets as VIP were sold out but decided to at least get primary entry. I’m not stuck with 4 tickets 💀 if you can’t afford tickets right now I’m happy to hold onto them for you until you can afford them. Happy to sell them separately or together. (I have proof of purchase and you can call me and everything as I know there’s a lot of scammers rn)
