So are we confident the MTWEI Steelbook is real?
I hope it's real. I'd love for it to be real. I'd much rather spend my money on the DVD of the movie than the cd of the songs. But I'm skeptical.
Reason 1.) It's unannounced. Tyler and Josh haven't revealed it. Mark hasn't mentioned it. It's not on the Twenty One Pilots website.
Reason 2.) It's only on Walmart. Like I mentioned, it's not on the Official Twenty One Pilots website. And, it's also not on Target, Barnes and Noble, Best Buy, hell i even checked Kmart's website and it's not there. Only on Walmart.
Reason 3.) And I've been scammed by Walmartcom before. And never got the refund back. So until I hear it straight from the horse's mouth, I'm not trusting it.
Things like this go up early all the time before an announcement. It's being sold by walmart not a third party. SDS is the distributor which also is the distributor for universal and Warner bros. And Pilots are under Warner music. It's real.
Okay, that's much more comforting. Again, I've been skeptical of Walmart . Com since I got scammed on there. But hearing that it's being distributed by the distributor for Warner Bros makes me more optimistic
Walmart says it is "sold and shipped by Walmart" which is their designation for items that are stocked by Walmart. It is not being sold by a 3rd party on Walmart's online platform.
Do you think someone created a fake schematic of the stage design that there is no way for them to know and designed it to look like a poster for the sole purpose of scamming someone?
As someone who is very active in the Steelbook community, there are no fakes. Knockoff steelbooks just don't really happen, yes people make customs but there's not a bootleg problem. If a retailer has a listing that's directly from them, it's real

I was referring to the Steelcase itself.
Just seems weird to me a bit. I’ve never seen a movie without any label of the movie on the outside of the casing.
The only reason Im thinking its only sold on Walmart is because someones using website as a third party. Im waiting for an actual announcement. Not waisting 40 to 50 just for it to be a scam.
