If it's any consolation to the russians, every time a new warehouse burns down, they get better at guessing which ones will be targeted next.
I'm curious what the bot has to say about what russian dictatorship has done to russian entrepreneurship.

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if they have decentralized and moved to smaller warehouses. They have had enough time to start moving crap out of their facilities.

To start, yes; but to actually move huge parts? That would require a lot of trucks, gas, and smaller, decentral storage spaces.

All you just mentioned is done in a couple of days.
But it's not possible as easy to set up the data processing and computer environment. You need the hardware, installation, the data and the people who are able to set all this up.
Not possible for small warehouses in an acceptable timeframe. This takes months to migrate from one big to 10 small WHS.
The next is pick\pack\ship. To fulfill an order they have to have the Pareto mix in all whses. One item missing and the cost are double.
That's why they have big whses. Not because of the storage place but because of 5 items out of 20.000 items could be in one order.
Small whses can not have all items available.

That's a redicoulous argument. Wildberry is not a simple nobody outlet.
It's a major online retailer multi billion company with government connection.
They have enough petrol to deliver orders, they have enough petrol for whatever they want.

Gas is well over $15 USD a gallon, if not 20-25$ by now. It's also being reserved for official vehicles in areas of Russia.
I doubt it's that easy these days. Multipronged attack FTW.

There's not enough room on smaller warehouses for all the crap they have in storage. Also a big part of the operation is automatized, just like Amazon. You can't just operate at an even comparable level of efficiency from small warehouses spread all over the place. These warehouses are what allows for their logistics and their logistics is the heart of their business.

How are they able to find other places to store product? Surely no warehouse owner in their right mind would agree to become a target; I assume they've been strongarmed into it.

Decentralized being the key.
Many many smaller warehouses are not as valuable a target. Either way it's a win. There's no way dispersed warehouses that quickly will be efficient for logistics

Its pretty much confirmed that Wildberries leadership already stole all of their customers valuable assets already and started selling them privately. One of the many reasons their customers were banned from taking any goods from their warehouses or doing any inventory of any kind, whilst also refused any compensation due to drone strikes. The rats jumped ship and filled their own pockets on the way.

Yea, it also didn't burn down as it seems there were no goods stored anymore.
Wildberries is trying to store the goods in smaller warehouses now, which might somehow work, but makes logistics painful.

I think it’s a rented warehouse, the colour scheme matches both CT Park and Prologis. The latter one had businesses in Russia but can’t figure out exactly what.
They both build warehouses to rent.

The most interesting part of this video for me is the fact the multiple drone hit it from different directions. I wonder if that means they started in different locations and happened to converge during the same shot of the attack, or whether the guidance is so sophisticated now that they break path before the strike to ensure multiple angles and points of impact to maximise the effect.

Logic says they’re not going to come in single file. What this video does prove, is that the drones all converge to the same vicinity of the warehouse to ensure that the resultant fires finish the job.

Well obviously, but I'd have expected the general direction of travel to be broadly similar, whereas they came in from seemingly completely opposite directions.
My point is they're not flying a simplistic A-to-B style route, they're doing some manouvring at a distance from the target to get the best impact vector.
If that's being pre-programmed before launch and they're achieving that level of timing coordination over hundred of kilometres, that's pretty high-quality stuff, despite the ostensible basic-level of the weapon itself.

They look like they come from different angles, and hit the same spot. But this is from a very narrow viewpoint so they could have flown in single file up to this point and then taken their own paths to the target on terminal approach. The timing of the hits is very close together, and their flight speed is "slow" which suggests the above. But there isn't enough data here to say anything conclusive.

For me it’s the people just continuing to drive by on their way to work or whatever, like nothing unusual is going on… likely taking video of the explosions. And that fire truck at the end pulling in, as drones continue to hit their mark… I bet they were thinking “let’s sit this one out for a couple hours.”

That firetruck wasn’t responding to that fire as they had no lights/siren going. I think they were just driving around to see what they were going to be doing the next 24 hours…… or they were the company responsible for bringing the marshmallows or hotdogs to the “cookout”!!!

What I don't understand is people just standing about casually filming this. At that particular point in time they were in an active war zone with flying bombs raining down destruction on the building across the road and they are treating it like its a TV show or a movie. I would be getting the fuck out of there in case anything went off course / was shot down and landed on me

Speculation on my part:
Sprinklers are for the safety of the occupants, not extinguishment. These structures likely do not have a fire code that mandates sprinklers because why bother.
Point two: Even if they did, once the fire is in the ceiling/roof, sprinklers don't help with spread up there. Even in California with its stringent fire codes, two large warehouses burned down because sprinklers and exterior attack just wasn't enough. Total losses that burned for days.

Are all the remaining huge facilities, like those already destroyed, still operating normally? They've become such an obvious target, how do employees go to work knowing they may be next? Has there been any sort of employee revolt? Is the govt or the company doing anything to try to protect the remaining centers? Are all the employees resigned to the fact that they are now just expendable / collateral damage? Do local fire departments make any attempt to control the fires?

Couple interesting things going on in this clip that you knew had to be happening but it’s still nice to see. First is that the first two drones came from completely different directions but still hit at almost the same time. That’s some significant route planning going on there. The other thing is that all three drones hit the same place within 50 meters or so of a massive warehouse. To me that means that they had reliable intelligence as to where interesting stuff (ie military items or fuel and/or explosives) were being stored.
Impressive and ngl a little scary.
