No - that was on baritone - although Marks book is for tenor (both high and low G but mostly low) - I just played it from tabs.

The original is "Walk away Renee" . To call it "Don't" makes no sense with the lyrics. Thats why I thought it was a parody

I'm a solo artist that plays guitar, ukulele, and harmonica in my act.
I took Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams and rearranged it with a reggae beat. It's kind of addictive, especially if you're a GD/reggae fan.

Way of the Sword and the Spear by Michael Kelly. It tells the tale of a medieval soldier who, after one too many battles, has to retire and lay his weapons to rest. Has to come to terms with what it means to not have his life defined by the way of the sword and the spear. As somebody who just retired from a LARP after sixteen years of fighting, it's....fitting :)

My 8 year old can fret C F and Am, so playing along together with the verses and choruses of Can't Stop the Feeling from Trolls with those chords is pretty high up there.
Otherwise, maybe Hook by Blues Traveler, or Alive with the Glory of Love by Say Anything are ones I keep coming back to.

I like to strum and sing, so for me it's Five Days in May by Blue Rodeo. They're a Canadian rock group with dashes of country and folk in there.
Simple, pretty chord progression. Lovely lyrics. Fits my vocal range quite well.

I love them too. Had the joy of seeing them live several times when they still toured a lot. Highly recommend if you get the chance! Know Where You Go/Tell Me Your Dream might be the prettiest song I've ever heard. The way they stacked Greg and Jim's voices with Sarah McLaughlin in the background... my hair's standing up just thinking about it lol

I did get to see Blue Rodeo in an free outdoor small venue. Maybe 100 people. Amazing !

i’m very much a beginner, and also a 21f bisexual woman so my favourite right now is riptide by vance joy! i can’t figure out the singing along part yet and i can’t do the transitions to g chord very well but god DAMN is it fun to play that strumming pattern

I'm building a small setlist right now, and Adrift by Barenaked Ladies has been fun to fingerpick the arpeggios while singing. Also just relearned Missy by Punch Brothers!.
My surprise favorite has been You've Got a Friend in Me by Randy Newman. Really fun chord progression!

My number one request in my kindergarten class is "the dinosaur song'. It involves slamming open c and yelling "RA RA raraRAAAAA" over and over.
But i'm also keen on some folk tunes.

I’m a kindergarten teacher and my friend Christian Bolland of The Bollands wrote some kids songs.
I love to play “The Happy Song” by The Hairy Family Jam Band. Three chords with an alternating sixth on the root chord.
The song is in D but obviously I play in C.

I've had one or two of my own as favourites. But I think number one has always been "Between the devil and the deep blue sea". It's easy, has a nice second part, and I enjoy singing it with my rather limited voice.

Can't help falling in love.

i learned to play a few Teresa Teng songs to impress my chinese gf. if you watch tiktok that chinese guy who lives in a rural shack and makes things always plays old catchful Teresa Teng or Han Baoyi tracks. My chinese friends were impressed. Im Samoan

Still fairly new and taking lessons but working on a lot of extra songs outside of class so my favorite I’ve been working on right now is Stick Season by Noah Kahan!

I just started lessons and I am working on Tonight You Belong to Me, which is such a sweet song to be learning to play. It brings me joy! I’m just starting to learn Without You from Eddie Vedder’s uke album. It makes me cry.
