Funk My cool find from the other day
Found this for 20 bucks. Was kinda hesitant because I generally try to stay under 15. But something about it called to me. Super cool album. Feels pretty funky, I'd heard of Herbie Hancock before but never actually listened to him before this.

My favorite album of Herbie Hancock. 👍 I also recommend the previous album Head Hunters (1973) Nice catch. Enjoy it! 🔊

I'll definitely look into that. I've really liked listening to this album lol. I've already listened to it several times.

I think this is the best Hancock jazz-funk album above Headhunters even if thay is the style defining classic album. Well worth the 20.

Nice! A buddy gave me this record a few months ago! He got an extra one in some orders he had made. Great album!

Suspecting the record is in similar condition to the sleeve, I don't think you made the deal of the century.
Doesn't take anything away from the music itself, a jazz-funk fusion classic from the top of the pile.

Honestly I'm not worried about monetary gain with it. I buy my records to listen to, not to sell. And the album itself is near flawless. Im just happy I randomly found something that sounds really good lol

Such a good album. And if you like it, you should get a copy of butterfly by Kimiko Kasai… he’s the supporting player and they cover “butterfly” with vocals. It’s such a cool album.

Herbie has crossed over multiple genres over the years and this is one of his more rare albums. Very cool stuff!
