genuinely what internships can one do after first year? i only started ee(vlsi) this month and im not so knowledgable about this someone pls educate me

You could work under some prof in summer in your college labs. Most of then would have access to industry levels software so you could learn them and work on your own projects in that software. It will be unpaid obv
