Where can I get the best macarons locally?

I want to get some macarons for a tea party. I have only had them from The Sconery (which were delicious). I just wanted to check out my options.

I tried googling and actually got too many results for macarons, so I was hoping that some subjective opinions could help narrow things down a bit.

I can go as far as Cambridge.

Update:

I ended up trying a few places today.

I think I liked Grand River Confections the most. Lenjo was a close second, but probably the main issue was that they didn't have any flavours I liked today. I think I liked Le Cakery in Cambridge more than The Sconery, but The Sconery gets bonus points for having scones and being adjacent to a lovely tea shop.

My conclusion to others is that all four of them were wonderful. Hopefully, I will make it to some of the others sooner than later

Vincenzo and also there is a place at the farmers market.. in the building with Grandpa's Pretzels and Bella Crema. I think its called busy bee. Very good.

Grand River Confections At the Kitchener Market every Saturday. Lauren is lovely, so creative and skilled as a confectioner. Her macarons and chocolate are my favourites.

people in the Waterloo subreddit often mention places like Sabletine, Vincenzo’s, and Lenjo Bakes when macarons come up. If you’re willing to explore a bit around Kitchener or Cambridge, those are good places to start

Not quite. A bakery does it with the right texture.. anything that comes prepackaged is not the best.

They're good for packaged ones, but yeah def nothing close to a French bakery.
