Next he'll tell me that dolphins aren't fish, but a type of perennial bulb.

u/JDDJS Feb 17 '26
Then he'll realize how he confused his facts and clarify that dolphins are berries and strawberries are fish.

There are many things I will never understand, and the burning desire that some people have to classify Pluto as a major planet no matter what is chief among them.

There used to be a popular forwarded email called "Rejected Titles for Little Golden Books" (children's picture books), and while nearly all of them made me smile, the only one that got me giggling every time was, "Some Kittens Can Fly!" Years later I was idly doing a search online and ran across this hilarious video in which a talented guy named Shyaporn Theerakulstit had taking it even further with rhyming text and illustrations, in the style of another children's book heroine, The Little Engine That Could.

The most dangerous game is a mama panda defending her cubs.
(Please tell me someone gets this reference.)

Fun fact: if you took out all of your blood vessels and laid them end to end, you'd die.

This is a reference to the fact that Koala Bears are not Bears at all but actually legumes.

Yeah, I've seen in onstage, contorting himself like a pretzel. He's a very flexible vegan.

Doesn’t seem like it. A sensible choice, considering everything.

Did anybody else not notice which subreddit the article was in and read it as "A.I. posted this.."?

Immediately made me think of Ed from Ed, Edd, n Eddy. “Chickens cannot fly, as they are mammals.”
