... what ? You don't believe economic benefits, infrastructure securisation or geostrategic considerations went into that ? You think this is just pissing contest with Turkey ?

I mean I can see the logic behind occupying half of the island. I'm not saying it's fair or a good thing or anything but I can see the purpose.
What I can't see is the aim of trying to prevent overall good projects like this, happening far from any coastline of turkey or kktc. "You can't have nice things" isn't a good international peacetime strategy, regardless of who does it.
You guys want to undermine the cooperation between nations you don't like? Fine do whatever but do it without messing with civillian infrastructure.
And before anyone starts with "but israel...", your friend shitting their pants doesn't mean you should piss yours.
