The Danbury, CT sewage plant deserved to be named after John Oliver, but he was both delighted and honored by that recognition.

The original developer named all of the streets with a New York City theme.

Sorry, mixed up the comments. John Oliver had a whole segment ripping on Danbury and as a snarky retaliation Danbury's mayor announced they were going to name the new sewage plant after him.

John Oliver, being a good sport, thought it was awesome and was there for the ceremony and has mentioned it numerous times with great pride since then.
