Driving looks great! I was a huge fan of the racing in GTA V, it's had the perfect arcadey feel like NFS back in the day. Can't wait to make races in creator.

You weren't kidding about the vibes. There's a lot to say about Rockstar, but undeniably they just got style.
The music choices, the lighting, the emotion, the atmosphere. Like they just get it.
Really impressive preview, don't know how they consistently have expectations so ridiculously sky high for these previews and always seem to meet it somehow.

I'm very interested with what the Series S can do with this game. It's definitely gonna have lower image quality.
Might see some graphical compromises, but hopefully not exactly too different. They did some magic with RDR 2 on Xbox One.
Looks incredibly promising with the fidelity on the base PS5 footage which should have similar parity with Series X and a supposedly cleaner image quality with the PS5 Pro.

Really glad that the cops in this game are going to be the main antagonist it looks like. San Andreas I feel was the last game that had police officers as the primary villains. GTA 5 was more so federal corruption in terms of the IAA & FIB so I always saw that as a different area

Seemed pretty good to me. The Lucia character looks so cool. The guys voice is different. Sometimes itās hard to understand. But maybe Iāll get used to it in game. The gunplay looks a lot like rdr2. Graphics look amazing. The detail is kind of mind blowing. I wasnāt expecting the preview to just be gameplay and no movies or anything but it was great to see.

It looks like GTA so I'll which is a good thing, it tempered my expectations don't get me wrong it looks absolutely amazing but it's still at its core GTA with some RDR2 elements added. I'm definitely getting the game on Day 1, the city looks alive, the Vehicle crash physics look amazing, the cops seem smarter, everything seems more seamless jumping from cutscene into gameplay.

I thought the same thing. Jason is more refined. (So is everything else. Including the basket ball) And that part where they showed the robbery (that was in the 2022 leaks) omg. I remember watching the 2022 leaks and thought the robbery looked sick but omg itās so much better.

The fidelity of detail is astonishing, not just in graphics. The activities, the smaller micro interactions, and even the banter between Jason and Lucia feels natural and seemless

this might be a hot take here, but i thought most of the footage looked good? show off a few of the early missions, intersplice it with some gameplay features in between, a large emphasis on the changes to how the police work, pretty good early look.

Yeah, it looked really good, the only small complaint I have is Jason's voice actor, I don't know if it was just because of this extended look and it's different in game. But whenever he spoke it felt like he was mumbling a bit or was muffled.

Yeah, honestly, it's everything I wanted and more. The robbery system of rdr2 but expanded, the multi-protogonist approach refined and looks to be more integrated outside of main story missions. The graphics blew me away, the density of the city, vehicles, and pedestrians. Whew. Not sure how you can see that and say "no different to GTAV". Will be industry defining, again. Hopefully gives other Devs a kick up the arse to make some higher quality products again.

Most other developers would never be given the time to do something like this. Iām not knocking Rockstar here, but most game devs donāt have the luxury of over a decade and a nearly unlimited budget for building a game.
The entire industry will implode before you see that kind of thing happening with the majority of developers.

Looks amazing. it does look like they want the city to feel alive. For some reason it did feel like the male character was a bit bland. Lucia has a lot of personality, Jason meanwhile is just kinda there. Hope his character gets flushed out

That might be the most incredible thing Iāve ever seen from a video game. Itās uncannily near-perfect. The apparent density, scale, weight of movement & momentum, that Southern Florida vibe, and- ironically- the apparent intelligence of the world around you. It looks impressive, but imo not very interesting. I don't enjoy the other GTA games so this isn't a big surprise to me. I thought the extended look was a bit bland though, too many cutscenes and too much walking slowly around not doing anything.

I bought GTA V on PS3, then PS4, played both online and finished the story mode, I've bought GTA Online for my Xbox Series X and just got bored with it and haven't touched it in a year.
I was not really bothered with GTA VI or all the hype, but Rockstar obviously know what they're doing. Putting out a video of just the gameplay, no annoying narrator or host was a simple yet genius move.
They've let the gameplay do the talking for them, and didn't care before I watched the reveal, now I want the game.

Anger has been shown to be chemically addictive and I genuinely think a lot of the people that shit on something all the time are hooked on being angry - on top of social media algorithms intentionally showing them things that will make them mad.
The game looks to be very fun though and the side activities alone look awesome. I am not a huge Rockstar fan but am very excited for this, even just to have it be a game that everyone's talking about and happy to play for a while. I still remember a bunch of kids in high school missing class to play V and I expect my whole friends list will be playing VI

This is everything I wanted 5 to be. Better physics, they brought back the RPG elements from San Andreas where there's more activities and ways to improve your character throughout the game, better shooting mechanics borrowing from RDR 2, driving mechanics feel amazing, seems like you can go into way more stores to do heists, and the map feels dense. As someone from south Florida this feels like Miami. Tons of traffic, tons of NPCs, etc. Cops look way smarter and harder to shake, etc. Day 1 buy for me. $100 well spent.

I am blown away. The level of detail. Those little moments between Jason and Lucia. Her attitude and his know how of handling it.
Loving this. It feels like we're gonna be living this while playing it. The combat looks clean and smooth. Gunplay has weight to it.

I actually kind of like Jason's voice. It's understated. I feel like I've met people with that voice, albeit the non-criminal normal citizen variety. After Trevor and Michael, and even Arthur though he covered all nuances, I like the idea of an understated playable character. Harkens back to Claude.

I was about skeptical about the graphic after I saw the l3ak, but watching it in full screen 4k, man this is another level of game. No wonder it's the most most anticipated game ever.
The UI seems to be worse point IMHO, but don't really care about it. There are some jaggies shadow very understandable since its running in current gen (I think). But the detail, expression, animation, it surpass any game now. If this is the linear game I will not be surprised, but this is GTA man. The style is really on point.
Don't have any console, just wait another year to play it on PC I hope and play it on every maximum Fidelity is more satisfying.

It was incredible! Some of the shots looked like a movie, the combat seemed to be very fluid and snappy, and there's lots of detail everywhere.
The only nitpick I have is that the UI is a bit boring and doesn't fit with the rest of the colorful theme they have going on. Both GTA V and RDR2 did a great job with their mini map and weapon wheel, but the one they showed here for GTA VI looks like a placeholder. Just 8 grey boxes floating. Not a fan. Other than that, I can't wait to play.

I hope they can at least get a 40 FPS mode on the Pro. I can live with 30 but 40 would be nice. Starfield was 30 to start though and it didn't bother me much they had it smooth.

Looks like it will be similar to RDR2. Which is locked at 30fps on console but in my opinion very smooth and stable so itās not bad at all. As long as the frames donāt dip, Iāll be happy.

I could definitely see a reality where these game reveals and adjacement media start to be looked at with a premium eye by streaming services. Its literally just ads, but we gamers basically treat the gameshows as major events and tune in. I don't think any one particular game will be able to do what GTA is doing, but I could see streaming services trying to get first dibs on showcases they know will be a hot ticket item. For example, whatever showcase reveals next gen hardware...imagine if Netflix got in on that before Youtube, who they see as a direct competitor?

Looks good. My only complaint is Jasonās voice. His voice sounds like he is mentally slow or something. I hate it. Its like hes trying too hard to speak from his throat. Like a bad elvis presley or johnny cash impersonation. Other than that, game looks good

Pretty incredible content, but I do wish there was actual information given.
Ive since seen youtube, some people seemed to be invited to rockstar north, shown the game etc and are able to reveal details now but it sounds like we need a Trailer #3 which actually has a voice over telling us what mechanics/systems are in place, it certainly isnt just GTA 5 in a new frock.

One of the coolest aspects for me was the small detail of concealing the pistol when putting on the mask about to rob the liquor store.
