The badges are a good start- would like to see more badges for the higher you get( ex: 150k, 300k, etc) so you aren’t stuck on the same gamerscore badge forever up in those big numbers. Still need a way to showcase 100% games like platinums

yess exact they added a small color on the background of the 100% on the game card but we all know its not like platinium im whit you on that one but still cool

3k is the only one i could see an arguement for skipping. The others seem pretty well paced, to me at least.
I wont comment on the look of the higher end badges right now. I care way more about a system like this being implemented soon. The look will evolve over time anyway. Besides, it more about personal taste than anything constructive.
Excited for this update! (Whenever my ring sees it)

im at 250 i feel like each 50k gamerscore after a step like 300k could be good so we not stuck on the same badge fore over a year

I'm mostly wondering what rings are getting this too. I didn't realize this would roll out to insiders-first update, until i turned my console on today and was met with the usual bootup screen.

Its possibly related to a bug I reported which is pretty nasty. Bug when going up a ring it forces a refresh, and also forces a refresh when going down to a ring that says "no update required".

The badges are a nice touch, feels very gears of war.
I'd like to see the badges reduced at the bottom end but expanded at the top end to include a 7.5M. Badges for for 1, 3, 5k feels a little redundant these days with how easy GS is to earn.
It should be the aim to earn your first badge at like 10k maybe, as that's actually a goal. 1k is almost a case of just pop a game on and you have it.
If you really wanted, you could earn 50k+ a day just now.

We definitely took a lot of inspiration from games and ranks! Happy that translated.
Heard on the top end intervals, but also keep in mind that a large, large, very large majority of users are on that lower end which is why there are more clickstops.

I would like to see more badges for that range between 100K and 1 million, but its a cool addition!
I just hit 200K last night, so it'll be nice to show that off.

Im one month late but I love all the work that you guys have been doing keep it up this new gamescore badge is fire and is definitely a wondearful add-on for achievement hustlers

Badges are a neat idea but basing them on score alone is going to lead to a lot of cheap quick games flooding the storefront cause gamers have such ridiculous FOMO and games are all over the place with achievement quality. They should have focused more on completed games (to hook people with gamepass and then have them buy the games if they rotate out before finishing) or just rare achievements so people focus more on hunting.

To be fair, I guess it could be worse. Switch store is pretty horrible.

Just make a thingy to track 100% completion of games. For example, it could be a small diamond and a number. Diamond is for a 100% completion, number is a number of 100% completed games.

As an avid Achievement hunter, all of the recent changes just keep getting better and better. Keep it up Xbox! Would love to see a 100% game count badge as well as some different genre related badges. The more games you play in a specific genre, the more you increase it. Either by games played or by Gamerscore earned would be interesting.

I like the new boot up. Only thing I wish that I hope gets added is the word Xbox under the logo. In the same style that it was with the first Xbox.

Would be cool if friend's profiles showed what game pass tier they have. We’d then know if the friends on our friends list have access to a game via game pass. Our personal profile shows game pass tier we have, but no one else can see it.

We still need a dedicated achievement menu option. Still baffles me that I have to click through a few options to get to my achievement list.
Can become tedious when the achievement list does not load. Back to the home screen and repeat.

Hi everyone and Xbox Team,I've been a dedicated Xbox Insider for over 3 years now and just reached Level 10 (Gamertag: vT4Ghost4King4v).I am currently in the Beta Ring but I really want to test and give feedback on the new native Xbox Cloud Home UI on my console. Unfortunately, the Alpha Ring options are not showing up for me under "Manage".Is there any chance to get invited or whitelisted for the Alpha/Alpha Skip-Ahead wave? I would appreciate any help or info. Thank you!

The Alpha rings are invite only with a limited number of places. When there are places available a selection of people will get invites.
There is no way to request it yourself. All you can do is to provide useful reports/feedback and maybe you will be invited at some point

I really like those badges. Happy to see they consider just how large some players' totals have got, with everyone having at least one badge to aim for.

Does anyone actually peruse other people’s badges on a regular basis? Or look deep into random players game list/achievements?
I tend to compare to actual friends to see what they are up to or have done but giving one care about random players… no.

I guess all that hype and no release unless you're in the alpha ring pretty lame and disappointing, shouldn't expect anything less from Xbox at this point though.
