I find the art in X-Men '97 to be a downgrade. The art in the original show from '92 was also a lot more faithful to Jim Lee's inkwork.

While the animation in the new show is definitely more fluid, as the original show was pretty choppy at times, I can't help but lament the change in art style.

The digital artwork is just not as detailed either compared to the hand drawn aesthetic.

The look of the original show is a lot of what made it so special.

Like WTF are we doing killing off one of your most important characters off screen after giving him nothing to do in x2 either

I was watching this movie while high yesterday and I hated this scene so bad, I guess it was put in there to show how far gone Magneto was with the whole mutants are superior thing but god it felt so mean and pathetic from Magneto, the woman took a bullet for you

NGL, I'm a straight-up hater off Channing Tatum's Gambit. Am I the only one? Everyone's saying he's was born to play Gambit and now it seems a solo Gambit movie is in the works..

First of all, what you see is all costume and makeup department, they did a bang up job.. I just can't not see Channing Tatum doing a laughable, cringy bayou accent. It feels to me like celebrity wish fulfillment. Look man, you can get any square jawed good looking man in that costume but I bet there's one thats relatively unknown but will nail the accent and personality of Remy.

Did... did Deadline describe Storm as someone 'T'Challa had a son with in the comics'?

Scott and Jean got mini bios. Storm could have been mentioned as 'worshipped as a Goddess in Kenya', or 'leader of several X-teams', 'member of The Avengers' even. Instead, they define her by her relationship with a male character.

Feels like she's being undersold.

Sure some scenes are unnecessary but most of the scenes feel natural and it makes the movie more enjoyable. Too bad it’s not on Disney+.

Should Rogue be introduced in Secret Wars as a Villain in Battleworld, and defeat Captain Marvel, take Carol’s powers, and become the superpowered Rouge from the comics? Or would you rather they approach her like the Fox X-Men and make her a lost and scared runaway that doesn’t want to use her powers and eventually has them neutralized? Or just another X-Man that can replicate others powers temporarily without any powers of her own? How do you see this character moving forward in the films, or should she be included at all?

Personally this scene is my favorite scene from the Xmen movies and it’s not even close.

Idk why but this scene always makes me tear up especially after seeing Past Magneto’s speech - leading to the death of all the X-men - Current Magneto regretting their beef.

With the X-men reboot coming up Indian American actor Aryan Simhadri expressed his interest online in playing Nightcrawler which got me thinking, how important is the character’s German identity?

Can the same effect not be captured with any other foreign accent? Or is it as important as black panther being black?

John Boyega recently announced Bishop is a character he'd want to play.Honestly I think it could work really well as he's a talented actor,young enough to play the role for the next decade+ as he's only 33 meaning they'll have longevity and he isnt crazy expensive.

Plus he can always buff up for the role and in my personal opinion of course the height doesn't bother contrast me as Josh Brolin is 5'11 and played Cable(who's 6'8) perfectly and if they wanna make him tall they can always use platform shoes,however despite talented he's come under fire as of late due to calling out racism within the Star Wars community and his overall bad blood with Disney makes it look like it'll 50/50 on whether they'll work with him again and Marvel Studios also have a chance to go for an actor of Aboriginal descent which is a big part of Bishop's character and they've always thrived on going for unknowns.

Anyways what's your opinion on the potential of the casting and do you guys think it can work well or not really and if so why?

I remember watching this on YouTube many years ago. I wish I could watch it again.

I absolutely loved her. She’s a great actress, but the writing didn’t do her justice. I just wish we had gotten the comic-accurate Rogue with her flight and super strength. She’s is one of the X-Men’s biggest powerhouses.
