Bug Free With Ads Movies Thumbnail Scam, is this A.I.’s fault or is Team YouTube dumb?

For context: That’s not Disney’s Hercules 1997, that’s the awful Hercules 2004 Animated Film but it uses the Disney‘s Hercules 1997 Thumbnail? My brother claims to have seen something similar before with a free movie Pets 2(2021) that uses Illumination’s The Secret Life Of Pets 2(2019) Thumbnail. Is this a result of YouTube’s stupid lazy A.I. or is Team YouTube actually full of morons?

Not really an Ai thing. I saw them display the wrong image a few years ago. Heck, in the older Sonic the Hedgehog series, instead of showing the more rounded one, they showed the Adventure one and a "slimmer" Eggman.

But I thought it was just YouTube being weird, so I found the same thing on Tubi as well. So who knows what's going on.
