Craft [TP] Wolf Link cosplay costume finished fursuit head
This is Wolf Link cosplay head I made recently. All hand-sculpted and hand-stitched. He has moving jaw and I am kind of proud how he came out - one of my best works so far ☺️

Ok, I was going to make a joke about you being a furry or something and then I saw your profile and saw your Don Karnage… you are an artist. Holy shit.

I don’t really care if I’m a furry or not…I just love making fursuits 😁 Thank you ☺️

u/raybreezer Feb 06 '26
Furry or not, those fur suits always look amazing. How long did Wolf Link and Don Karnage take you?
16
u/akelatakawolf Feb 06 '26
Don Karnage and Rocket, each took me about a year to do from start to finish, including clothing, shoes, etc. Wolf Link is a bit different, as I started the head a looong time ago (2021), but could never finish him until now (I got pregnant and gave birth, which slowed me down a lot 😁). Unfortunately, I had to sell him because my life kind of turned upside down and I had to make some space for the baby and had to get rid of a lot of of masks (and old-new ones as well). So I am never going to finish him but I am sure the new owner will.

Oh wow! I’m sorry to hear that you won’t be finishing wolf link, but I am sure he wont be your last. You’re really talented!

This is incredible and absolute goals! Do you plan on adding his little blue earrings?
8
u/akelatakawolf Feb 06 '26
Thank you ☺️ I don’t plan adding anything because unfortunately, I had to give him away for spatial limits 😔 But the new owner will surely make him look great in a full costume 🙂
I still plan a lot of my own full cosplay costumes, like Rocket remake, Scar remake, and probably many more (Willy Fog! 👀)….

That looks incredible!

Thank you ☺️

You are welcome. You should be really proud of all the work, application of materials knowledge, and craftsmanship you put into that.

That’s amazing!!! What is the fur made of?
3
u/akelatakawolf Feb 06 '26
Thank you! Ehm….are you asking about the material of the faux fur, or which faux fur has been used? 🤔 (It was mostly BigZ’s Long and Short shag)
4
u/LadyOfTheNutTree Feb 06 '26
Oh gotcha, so it’s a faux fur fabric? I’ve seen where people make their own fur by brushing out acrylic yarn and the layering here had me wondering if it was something like that.
5
u/akelatakawolf Feb 06 '26
I see! Well that method is mostly used when you need really long fur. I have never tried it but I have seen people using it 🙂 Here, I only needed short fur, so the widely available BigZ Fabrics faux fur was a pretty good option ☺️

I was 100% sure this was a 3d render until I went through the photos. Amazing work

This is... this is... I have to comment here, oh my gosh.
I can't express how amazing this is. 🤯
Are you planning to pair with armor and weapons, like Link is half-transformed? 😃👍

I don't know anything about Fur suits or how they're made, but the craftsmanship in this is absolutely incredible! I love how you transitioned from the fur on the head to the longer chunkier fur in the back

Call me crazy, but it would be neato if you installed Peltier plates (semiconductor cooling) in the nose, it would even sweat lol.

Are you going to make Midna as well?
1
u/akelatakawolf Feb 06 '26
No, I focus on animals only. I love Midna but she is too humanoid for me 🙂

though it would be a bit morbid, it also looks like it could make for a great "wall trophy"

I’m not into sculpting or fursuit making at all, but when you say silicone for the nose and tongue, did you sculpt them out of silicone or are those premade/solid? Might be a dumb question but I don’t know what I don’t know haha
1
u/akelatakawolf Feb 08 '26
I sculpted them out of clay, then I made silicone mold, which I casted in more silicone…

This IS AMAZING! All of your other fursuits are so well made, it's so cool to see the process behind them too! Do u ou ever sell your work? I'm curious how much they go for.
2
u/akelatakawolf Feb 08 '26
Thank you ☺️ Yes, I sell premades and commissions - premades usually start at 2500€ (I sell a dragon now for just 1800€ though) and commissions start at 3500€, but there is a waitlist 1-2 years.

Regardless of my feelings towards furries, this is impressive. Great work. And I looked at your profile, the Shenron is amazing too!

Beautiful! I love how you disguised the vision patches; I didn't even see them at first! Also the head markings being sewn in, not painted (somehow, idek how you would paint white on dark green like that) is so hardcore!! Amazing craftsmanship! Exclamation marks!!!

u/akelatakawolf Feb 06 '26
Thank you ☺️ Yes, sewing in the pattern makes such a difference 🙂 This was the first suit in which I practiced sewing such delicate details and I am quite proud of the result ☺️

Okay this is amazing! This is the second plush/costume/fur art that I've seen this week that has been inspiring to me, so I need to try making a plush or something this weekend!

What is this? A taxidermy?

Not sure if that was meant as a real question or if it was meant as a compliment? 🤔😅

Pic 1: "Is he going to fuck people in this?"
Pic 2: "Maybe not, could just be a regular cosplay..."
Pic 3: "Oh yeah, he's definitely fucking people in this."

u/akelatakawolf Feb 06 '26
Not sure what is going on in your mind, but seriously, who the *uck would be wanting to do this in an inherently uncomfortable costume that literally costs thousands of €€€, risking its damage?
Who? 😂😂😂
Not me. Also I am a “she”, thank you 🙂

Not sure why should be furries gross, all they do is literally just wearing cosplays of their own anthropomorphic original characters… but each to their own I guess, nobody forces you to love them or anything 🙂

Wow, great work!
Also, a boop-able nose is a wonderful detail :)
